Just move Beebe to guard??

I thought his All 22 tape was far better than average and even trending up by the end of his rookie year. He's far superior to Richards who is most likely the next best LT candidate on the roster.

I am not quite confident in Guyton ever developing his feet to be starting on the left side.
Oh, definitely, I don't think Richards is NFL starting material, period.

Hard to say w/ Guyton. He has the physical skills to be top 5.

Tyler, however, doesn't have the feet to be more than a mediocre LT. He'd most likely be a penalty machine there.

Yeah, I dont know. I think Smith could possibly improve to better than average at LT. But just my amateur observations of film watching.

On that same note, unfortunately, I just see alot of Evan Neal in Guyton's game right now. The failed RT experiment with the Giants.
Basic balance stuff on the left side. Same as Neal with the Giants on the right side.
Both very tall young men.

Maybe he could get it sorted out with better coaching up.
Will be interested to see in what Riley gets out of this starting 5.

There hasn't been any Center talk at all in the draft zone like the last few drafts. I was researching the 2025 draft for the top centers today just out of curiosity. I don't think there are any highly touted centers in this draft class this year.

With the new coaches here and Coopers former coach here, are there any chances that he gets moved back to guard where we played in college?? If anyone knows how good he was, it would be his former coach!!

LT- Guyton
LG-Smith
C-Hoffman
RG- Beebe
RT- Steele

How sure are we that the cowboys feel like they've invested in the OL in recent years with first round picks, maybe it's time to focus elsewhere. You guys know we're cheap, this could save money in us not bringing in a free agent and having to pay them as well. Please give your thoughts!
Brother this is the alignment I've been saying would best fit as starters since the beginning of the 2024 season. I hope they move Hoffman and Beebe. Hoffman is more athletic while Beebe is stronger. Switching their positions would better suit them and this starting 5 Oline.

I don't like Hoffman as a long term starter - either center or OG. The longer he has to start, the more exposed and exploited he becomes as a player.
He is not elite enuff to handle the big stud boys.

- I'm more for seeing what the new dude coaches may determine with Cooper Beebe.. Remain at center to see if he continues to develop the more experience he gains,
or is OG a more natural position for him. but he can swing to center if there is a injury pinch.

- Plus, methinks if the new coaches decide to move Beebe to OG, then a highly regarded draftee is immediately needed.
And we well know Cap Boy is not gonna chip out the big money for a starting, established vet center - nor a top vet OG either.

- We simply dunno of late rounder draftee Nathan Thomas - He's quite a lot to prove, he's strictly an unknown and he has to prove he can stay healthy as well.

So he spent all last year working his *** off to play the Center position and you just move him back to guard!
If he was bad, sure. But he was good. I don't see the reason or need unless a better natural center somehow falls in our laps.

My guess is they feel Hoffman is better suited to Center than guard. I’m just a bit surprised as they seem to have almost written Bass off as he seemed to be a natural fit for that right guard position!
