Anyone seen/heard how Aaron Donald is doing so far in camp and in their preseason game?? Can't wait until the week 3 matchup of Zack Martin vs Donald!!

He probably won't start this year. But he's looked pretty good from all I've heard. Barr hasn't looked bad either. But the real stud rookie defenseman has been Shazier.

Why Aven8? Martin is just as good a pick if not better.

Yes, the Cowboys could have used Donald but he was not an option. I am more curious to know if there are any 3rd-round picks doing well that Dallas might have picked if not for the trade.

I love Martin, but we could have managed with Berd and Leary like last year. Donald wasn't even there so it's moot, but I still say he was the best player in that draft. If you looked up 3tech DL in the dictionary it would have Donald's bio there!

I watched it to see and he didn't do anything special, no sacks tackles or pressures. The Rams had no sacks against the Saints. I also watched the Vikings to see Barr and he had a sack but it was a coverage sack on a zone blitz that got him matched up on a running back. He did look athletic though, they were playing him as a LB in the 4-3.

I didn't want to spend another first round pick on OL but it's hard to complain about Martin, he's going to be good.

In terms of this year, I think Martin is going to have the bigger impact. Is Donald going to give much more than Melton? Probably not, the defense is going to suck either way. Martin is more of a step up from Bern than Donald is from Melton.

Long term the better pick is probably Donald, but I don't think it would make much of a difference this year.

How good Martin is definitely helps. It doesn't look like Martin is going to be just really good either... that guy is looking like he is going to be great.

Had Dallas not gotten someone who looks as exceptional as Martin, it would really, really sting to see Donald.

As everyone probably knows, I was Donald's biggest fan on here and I just try not to think about him playing great for St. Louis.

Heard he's been excellent in pass rush but getting washed out in the run game.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the narrative of his career, but I think he'll get it together
