Good for you.

Are you doing the tough mudder on a competitive team, or just for fun?

My wife and I did the one in Maryland this summer (total chaos, btw), but I would like to do it with a competitive team next year.

TM is fun, but if you haven't done one before, don't be surprised at the gimmicky bs....or the long waits at some of the obstacles.

Yeah , I hear its a wait at some if the obstacles, I heard the spartan race is just as good

And I'm gonna be in good shape for it but its just for fun. What's the price to run it ?

It's the same I believe....but they usually have the more competitive teams start earlier to avoid the bottlenecks at the obstacles.

We went later in he day, after several delays due to weather and poor organization, and were waiting for 10+ minutes at most obstacles....and for about 30 minutes at "Everest". The whole thing took us nearly 4 hours.

I don't think they have those issues earlier in the day.

I'm not sure, but I think you can request a timed run if you have intentions of trying out for the 24 hr tough mudder event....iirc, the top 5% get a chance to run it.

Ok thanks... The spartan race is a lot cheaper but its half of the length of the tough mudder,I'm game for one or the other
