Just remember that the Jets have a top-five defense in the NFL

have a top-five defense in the NFL and beat Buffalo after losing Aaron Rodgers four plays into their first game. This team was 7-4 at one point last year with arguably a bottom-3 QB situation in the league. They're legit on one side of the ball, and the Cowboys held their own... for the most part.

Conservative play-calling in the red zone, but you need to do that when their offense is generating next to nothing and the only way to assist them is by leaving points on the board. Well done by MM and Co. today!

MM had a plan. He wanted to give Aubrey some work, build his confidence. :muttley:

Yeah, fans need to remember, Jets defense is good, and scoring inside the 10 on good defense, you do not have a lot of room to work with. It gets tight down there.
This is where we miss that big end zone threat. We have not had one since Dez and Witten. Even then Witten fell off his last several years.

Are we going to prop up the 0-2 Cardinals defense next week if the offense still struggles to get the ball in the end zone?

One easy opportunity was missed, with Lamb being an easy TD, but it's not like there was a clean pocket the whole game.

Get Cooks mixed fully back into the group and the Red Zone will open up a lot to include the tight ends and running backs.

Important thing was that Dak didn’t throw too many risky passes. He almost got pick-six’d, but overall he protected the ball.

But yeah, Jets defensive front was pretty vicious. We are missing Tyler Smith BADLY. When does that guy come back?

Give Dak two options and he’s as good as any QB in the league. Give him 3 or 4 and he gets overwhelmed . Mikes designed this offense for the former.

It was another beating. A win is a win, but we dominated them all game long. Driving down the shorter fields and scoring on all but 3 drives is significant.
For the most part, it was a whooping.

I don’t know if they just don’t understand, I don’t know if they want to understand. I don’t know if they’re capable of understanding.
You take what you need. You don’t have to get greedy. He called the game as the game seems fit. It surprises me especially the older fans the comprehension.

Again, and I've mentioned this before. The object is to win the game. Not accumulate redzone stats. Against better teams you'll need better redzone success. But against the Jets it wasn't necessary. Against the Jets and when it was 24-10, just take the 3 points. Play it conservative. Game is over. Different approach playing the 49ers for example.

End Zone or not. We’re consistently inside the opponents 20. Field position. I remember when we were constantly inside our room 20. Everything is exactly the way it should be call the game accordingly.

I’m not going to second-guess Mike Murray’s game plan. It’s working I’m happy. If we needed a touchdown, I’m positive it would’ve been called differently.
