And like other comments I've read, I loved the role Michael Irvin had in it... I particularly loved his 1-on-1 basketball game with Sandler, it reminded me of some of the basketbrawl games I played as a kid-- the old saying was "no blood, no foul", we considered that wimpy... our motto was "no autopsy, no foul"...

But my absolute favorite was the role pro wrestler Kevin Nash had.... he was the big prison guard that they switched his steroids for estrogen, and he got all emotional and weepy during the game... it wasn't until toward the end of the movie that I realized it WAS Kevin Nash, when my nephew told me who it was... even after he told me, it still didn't LOOK like him, but his voice told me that the nephew was right...

Not a great movie, it followed the original pretty close, but a fun movie to watch... I noticed in the closing credits that another ex-Cowboy, Darren Chiaverini, had a role in it as well... the credits rolled by too fast for me to notice if there were any ex-Cowboys on the defensive side...

I just saw it about a week ago. It was a fun movie.
Had similarities to the original which was nice and some good humor laced in.

I thought Kevin Nash did an excellent job in the movie. His acting was actually very good. It was certainly better then Adam Sandler's acting. Surprised he hasn't done more movies since then.

I've never been a "Big Sexy" (or whatever his other wrestling name was...), but I gotta give him props.

I'm watching "The Hills Have Eyes" now *shudders* gory, of course it's the unedited version

That movie was awful.

It was quite gory though.

I think the best pro wrestlers are all pretty good actors, I think it goes with the job... certainly, none of them I've ever met (and I've met about a half-dozen) were ANYTHING close to their in[ring persona... the closest was Mick Foley, he was pretty fun-loving...

I liked that movie. Not great, but very enjoyable.

I agree, the best wrestler's are the ones with the best mic skills. I even think The Rock is a pretty solid actor. He's certainly improved a ton since "The Scorpion King".

Wouldn't mind seeing him on the mic in the WWE again though.

I wanna see Goldberg back in the ring...

Then, I wanna see a cage match between him and Batista... that would be epic, LOL...
