Folk's = 4 for 4 FG's

without his leg the score is 23-22.

Without his PAT we lose 22-20 = loss.

There are 100's of college kids every week who make all their PATs...just saying.

In college his kickoffs soared our of the back of the endzone. Tucson is not exactly Mile High either.

I can't figure out why his kickoffs in the NFL are so subpar. He is money on FGs though. I have more faith in him than any kicker we've had in years.

I still hate him though.

The Bills game last year will prevent me from ever disliking him. This kid has ice pumping through his veins.

Brad Sham and Babe were saying after his kick out of bounds that he is instructed by our ST coach to always aim between the numbers and sideline, don't worry about distance.

I think he should definitely make the pro-bowl. When was the last time we could say, "nice, this is a guaranteed three points".

I always thought the opposite when most of our recent kickers were out there.

The kid is gold.

Agreed.

Its definitely something that we take for granted. Folk and his FG's.

Its akin to the offense we put on the field over the last 2-3 years.
It wasnt that long ago that our offense was so predictable that we couldnt score more than 14-17 pts a game(The QB Carousel Chronicles)... ooffaa!

And there are plenty who miss their PAT's. I have to watch our OU kicker miss about once a game.

Our coaches are ********. If his leg is strong enough to get touchbacks than that's what he should be aiming for.

Starting out at the 20 > Starting out at the 35-40.

I blame Wade.

Folk is money, and proves it time after time. I have 100% confidence in him when it comes to field goals. However, the short kickoffs leave me puzzled. I don't know what it is he could do differently but I would like to start making teams steelte for touchbacks, or run backs averaging the 25 yard line or less most of the time. Give the defense a lift early with a good kickoff coverage.

Nothing connected with the Special Teams should puzzle anyone when you consider they are coach by the worst ST coach in the league.

The footballs are quite different in college compared to the NFL's version of the pigskin. Size for one thing.

Plus, kickers in college don't have to use the special Kicking ball like they do in the NFL.

Your hate for Folk is odd. Is it more of the "hate all kickers" rule? Or you just don't like that Nick is on our team? I'm glad to have the kid in Dallas. Better than Billy Cundiff, Suisham, Vandershank, Gramatica, et cetera, et cetera.

Folk is "money" when it comes to FGs. Kickoffs are a different story. If the right kickoff specialist is available during the draft/free agency, I would heavily consider it.
