What is tough is that a lot of people thought that Ben Johnson would be a good coach. Dallas didn't even talk to him and would never hire a guy like him. Too much control and too much money.

IMO, the NFL is a coach's league which is something Jerry fundamentally doesn't understand. More than any personnel move, his problems with coaching have been his undoing.

The Cowboys were 11-4 in '21 and in '22. What makes the Bears special over any other good team? Did they do something this year that we haven't done over the last 30 years?

Has the Bears owner been the GM for the last 30 years? Imagine how the Cowboys would have done if Jerry had stepped back and let Aikman and or Jimmy Johnson be the GM. He probably have 5 more rings than they have now. I guess that’s better for the NFL that they didn’t become that dominant.

yes, when the Cowboys were 11-4 they were weak and bounced out, dis respected and made to lose. The Bears are putting on a clinic, not fearing any team before them. the mind game alone is thrilling. When the Cowboys get behind usually they collapse, they have not been a strong team on either side of the coin.

true, we are currently an under .500 team, but we are still blessed. Lots of good stuff the past 30 years.
