And you really, really want to see 1 or 2 players who have not played much. Or at all.

Which rookies, FAs etc. would you like to see under game conditions?

I'd say

1. Hurd
2. Martens (No one hears much about the OT. But with Adams and Colombo around, no wonder)

Marten has been inactive for every game, so unless McQuistan gets hurt in practice this week, you're not likely to see any of Marten.

We have only seven rookies on our roster, and Folk and Spencer have played a lot. Marten and Free have never been activated for a game. That leaves Isaiah Stanback, Courtney Brown and Justin Rogers, so I'll choose them.

Depending on Bigg's ankle, Marten or Free might be active for the game. It would be nice to see one of them get on the field to evaluate them a bit this season. Could be telling if the oppurtunity arises and Free gets in at LT instead of McQ. Also, Stanback at WR would be cool, but if its a blowout and he comes in in the 4th, you wont see any passes his way most likely. Still, he would get a chance to run crisp routes.

If we're up by 30 in the 4th quarter, I say we pour it on.

Then again, we need to curtail our own arrogance. It's going to be a close game.

Yes we must be humble --but if we are up by thirty (remember it is Washington)
try to end the game up by 45:lmao:

Nah, I don't want to see any injured QBs. I would put Free in way before Marten. Anyhow, Marten hasn't been active all year. I believe the Cowboys are only having 7 active linemen all season. The five starters, Proctor (center & guard) and McQuistan (guard & tackle)

I would like to see Stanback get action if he can play, but it won't matter because we will be all about the ground game at that point.

We aren't playing the Jets Sunday. This game will be closer than that.........

I agree. This game will be closer.....and my answer to the "who" question is Stanback at WR. I want him to be ready to contribute, regardless of the score.

My question is :

Is facing Ellis and Ware in practice enough to go on to know if you have someone to replace Flo if you don't resign him?

If not then you better get Free or McQuistan some time against 1st string defenses and complex schemes to be sure!

If we can't contain Portis very well the game will be close. if we shut their running game down it will be a big blowout!

We'll see. We haven't beaten the Commanders by 30 or more since 1993. I'm not expecting it this week either.

I'd like to see Stanback and Marten get on the field, give them both some playing time whenever it's feasible.
