Just think if our DBs could catch

I absolutely LOVED the win last night. The tram showed heart and never gave up. But how many interceptions did our defensive backs drop that were right in their hands? Granted, the Falcons guys did exactly the same thing several times.

It seems like our guys haven’t been good at actually grabbing the ball for years. We’ve had different coaches so it must just be bad luck? I seriously think I’d make them run routes like the receivers and make catches OVER and OVER. I know they have limited practice time so maybe ask them to get together after practice or some time and just use the JUGS machine over and over.

I don’t know - maybe it’s just wishful thinking but man if we could grab a few of those catchable balls...

There are plenty of defensive backs who can catch the ball. And yes it would be nice if they could cover better. But I don’t think it’s too much to ask a professional football defensive back to be able to catch a ball right in their hands.
