It really is so bizarre that it is no wonder people are having a hard time grasping what happened.

It is just so crazy that an interview is setup. You go in, shake hands with the guy that will interview you.

Then he walks away pretending to be busy and never come back.

Just so bizarre.

I do not know why he would just ignore you. I would think if there was something wrong with your appearance or something he would just say the position had already been filled or some other excuse but to just walk around and ignore you is just so crazy. Even if he did not want to man up and tell you that he is not interested in hiring or interviewing you (for whatever reason) you would think he would have someone else to tell you or ask you to leave.

I would think if there was something wrong with your appearance or something he would just say the position had already been filled or some other excuse but to just walk around and ignore you is just so crazy. I think he took one look at him and knew he didn't want to hire him so he ignored him long enough to make him leave.

Might be a control freak but the feeling I got, with such limited information, is maybe the guy has some kind of personality disorder and/or mental problem. And something Jon was wearing or maybe his general appearance was a trigger to this guy and he just shut down or something. Just too bizarre to shake hands and then ignore someone.

Maybe it was his cologne? People freak out about worn fragrances in the work place now-a-days.

There is a fragrance free floor in my building and all of the offices and bathrooms on it do not allow perfumes or colgne in them.

They say that some of the folks on the floor are alergic or something.

So maybe Jon's HIGH KARATE was to much for the fellow and he just couldnt bring himself back to the interview knowing his nose would be getting round house kicks. :laugh2:
