Did anyone notice the selection of Babinaux to raise the twelve man flag before the game? He was selected because he was the one who tackled Romo on the botched snap 8 years ago.

I'd say Romo finally put that memory to bed sunday.

I heard on talkin' cowboys that he had the nerve to go into the Cowboys locker room after the game doing work for the nflnetwork. After his little dance and flag waving before the game he should have stayed out imo. Had the Cowboys players known I could have seen a player toss him out in a trash can.

I'd also heard that NFLN then had him doing interviews in the Cowboys locker room after the game. You'd think somebody would have more sense than to have the same guy who hoisted teh 12th man flag doing post-game interviews. Especially if SEA had won...

I was kind of hoping Romo would of held on the last field goal to go up by 7

Sorry, but a regular season win 8 years later doesn't make up for not catching that ball. Yes, I know they slipped a brand new, slick, unrubbed ball from the bottom of the ball bag in the game that prompted the league to make a rule change about how kicking balls are handled but the only thing that will put that memory to bed is knocking them out of the playoffs.

I was hoping they would have let Romo hold on that last field goal attempt to rub it in.

At such a critical moment of the game - up by 27-23, over a minute remaining? No, no, far too risky.

If leading by 17 points, sure, have Romo hold, or run a fake FG to rub it in. Leading by 4 points? No.

Besides, that last Bailey FG was only inches away from being blocked by an onrushing Seattle defender.

That would have been awesome to be up by enough at that point to let Romo hold for that kick. I would still be laughing about it.
