The NFL suspended Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon indefinitely without pay for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, the team announced.

He will be eligible to apply for reinstatement prior to the start of the 2014 season.

Blackmon, 23, was suspended four games at the beginning of this season, which was his second violation in less than a year.

He said then that getting in trouble is “not who I’m going to be.”

Blackmon has about $10 million left to be paid on a four-year, $18.5 million contract.

No, I would say that time has come and now maybe gone. He had issues before he entered the NFL.

Clearly the mistake was on Warren Moon for making ridiculous comments like that.

For one thing, as good as Blackmon is/was, he never possessed Bryant's elite size or athleticism. Blackmon is about 15 lbs lighter, an inch shorter, doesn't have the arm length, is slower, can't jump as high, the list goes on. The only thing they had in common were that they went to the same college.

Blackmon was always more Hakeem Nicks than Dez Bryant. And really he wasn't as talented as Nicks either.

I don't relish the fact that Blackmon is pissing his career away, but Moon's comments just keep looking dumber and dumber.

Idk man, Blackmon is pretty freakishly talented. He put up some absoultely monster games last year and this year in his limited time.
