Without prompting on SVP and Rusillo just said the Cowboys traded back thinking they could get him later. So he was likely the pick late. He mentioned nobody else.

I heard the Cowboys like 2 OL when trading back. Actually, JJ said that in the conference. Frederick was obviously one guy. JJ never mentioned the other guy. It very well could have been Pugh.

He was the one of the keys to the Cowboys 1st round apparently. The Giants took him one pick later. Now they will see him twice a year for a while.

I actually said this last night. Everyone assumed they were mad at the trade down, but they were upset that a guy they wanted at 31 went at 19

Pugh's agent told him #Cowboys may have wanted to take him at No. 31 & thought he'd be available when trading down from No. 18. No dice

I think Pugh was a big reach at 19 by the Giants. Not as big as Long at 20 by Chicago, but big nevertheless.
But time will tell.

If Frederick at 31 is a reach, then so is Pough at 19.

As a Giants fan I don't like the Pugh pick. I think we couldn't have gotten a better player with that pick. But I didn't like the JPP pick a few years ago either. In Reese I trust. I will give him the benefit of the doubt
