Who you got? Forbath or Zeurlein? Honestly I liked Forbath last year and thought we found a pretty good long term solution so this should be interesting. Glad they have a competition that really should come down to the final cuts.

I watched a lot of Greg back in 2012 to 2016 when I lived in STL. He had a huge leg and was great. Haven’t watched much of him since then but should be a good kicker battle between the two.

Distance? Greg
Accuracy? Last year it was Kai

If politics matter with Fossel then Greg already has the job

Forbath has a track record of kicking well for a time and then not and going from team to team because of that. Zeurlein has a track record of being outstanding for seasons but also has had some very meh results other seasons but was still consistent enough to stay employed. You hope Zeurlein is healthy and regains his form.

I think the leg wins the job, but I worry he turns into Vanderjunk. Forbath has bounced around for a reason.

I really hoped we'd bring in 2 young guys and let them kick it out.

Different year, different team for Zeurlein. But if 2019 was any indication Forbath went 10-11 in the 40-49 range 6-9 over 50. Greg 5-11 40 to 49 5-7 over 50. Those 40 to 49 numbers are troubling. Forbath turns 33 in September. Zeurlein turns 33 in December. Should be interesting. I don't think one should have the edge over the other at the moment.

I've been told there are no final cuts anymore. Just one big one. From 90 to 56 in a week. IIRC.

Contract wise Greg really has to suck to be cut. It's a small dead cap but I assume they didn't give him that deal without confidence he would bounce back

I hate the nick name, “Greg the leg”.

Makes me think of dufus from a movie like water boy. The good looking, Greg the leg, can kick 100 yard FG’s, but he misses a 20 yarder to lose the NCAA title!

Either is better than Maher.

Seems like we might be able to trade one of them for something or someone, just before final cuts. Both have pretty decent value.
