Ha! Trouty...I watched a game, some years ago, where Ed Jones hit ole Fan Tarkenton with a clothes Line so hard that Tarkenton, who whose no fruitcake, cried like a girl. Different game..and l ain't BS'ing you. Tarkenton was cryin like a sissy...which he wasn't.Cam Newton would be a **** of lot more respectful in those days.

Really wish the clothesline tackle was still legal. make coming across the middle or up the middle much more interesting.

Reminds me of when i was playing football my 8th grade year for my middle school I got flagged for a tackle that was closer to the rock bottom for those pro wrestling fans. this was 1990

Yeah, me too...it was great to watch a perfectly executed clothesline...it was devastating and could take a sissy QB out of a game.
