Take it for what it is worth but Ian Rapport just reported on the NFL network that the Browns might be interested in trading for Kapernick. He went to say that Kelly took the Niners job in the hopes that Kapernick would compete and win the job. I don't se this trade happening but if it does it will be good for us to get Wentz.

Unless part of the deal involves a swap of firsts and the nines pick Wentz at two.
I doubt it but my guess is as good as rapoports

The bolded part means he pulled this out of his anus so he would have news that makes waves.

Kaep doesn't want to play for Chip given his dislike for anyone with a personality.

Or may Kaepernick doesn't want to play for Chip because he's seen how Kelly's system destroys QBs in the NFL. Kaepernick would be running for his life in Kelly's system....and wants no part of it. Can't blame him. Besides that....the front office basically screwed him and everyone that was loyal to Harbaugh last year. Don't blame him for wanting out of that mess Trent Balke has created in SF.

So what you're saying is that Kap's quitting on the 9ers like Driskel's quit on Fla?

The Browns would be stupid to do that trade.

Does Kaepernick have a choice at this point?

If they did swap and SF was at #2 I'd be shocked if they didn't take Goff being the local kid and all...

That would be a very dumb on the Browns partt but they are the Browns. If it does happen I can see Goff being taken by the Niners.

Browns taking Wentz is win-win for Cowboys. Cowboys can take best D player or better yet, trade down and stockpile 2nd and 3rd rounds where best value is in this draft, take the best player in 1st.

And Wentz will be a Cowboy in 3-4 years after he bombs out in Cleveland, just in time for Romo's farewell season. :D

Browns reek at developing QBs, Hue Jackson or not.

If the Browns want Kaep I seriously doubt pick 2 overall is part of their plan to get him.
The 49ers would move him to save a lot of cap space.
They have guaranteed vesting dates that hit each April 1st.

Kaep is still a QB so you aren't getitng tipped to take him but you are also likely paying only pennies on the dollar.
