Kareem Hunt suspended 8 games

So let me get this right...

Zeke with no charges, no evidence, prosecutors not buying the alleged victim, NFL's own investigator confirming there was nothing..... gets 6 games
Hunt with a horrible video, his OWN team cutting him... gets 8 that could go to 6 or less?

So only an idiot would now say the NFL and especially Goodell aren't biased against the Cowboys.

Both are deplorable, but Hunt would've killed that gal if he hadn't been restrained. Make not mistake, I despise both those punks. Neither has any business in a profession that influences youngins.

Even worse, Zekes accuser’s friend basically told police she was lying.
Agree though, for consistency sake, Hunt should’ve gotten a full year easily.
Of course, Josh Brown only got one game...until a massive uproar hit and after he was no longer a NYG. The fact that RG keeps his job is ridiculous.
 
I never thought I'd be saying this, but that team is going to be a menace offensively. At least on paper.

It wasn't DV..... that girl wasn't with Hunt

She wouldn't leave Hunt's room after they told her to go........... one of his friends had been trying to get with her..... he should have never got involved physically but the girl shared a lot of the blame

8 games is excessive but this is the new NFL

I’m not even going to argue one video over the other, they are both horrible. In a world where a pro athlete is a target already and people are looking to bate you(not saying this is the case) how can you go so far out of control? To be clear, this is extremely wrong for anyone to do. For a pro athlete, it is extremely wrong and extremely stupid to do. He should get 2 years in my book and try and save your career from there.

So he hit a girl that wasn't his wife or Girlfriend. So it's physical abuse or assault? Honest question does the CBA have a different set amount of games for Assault vs DV?

It does

DV or violence against a GF is what inspired the new 6 games penalty

It is only 8 games because their is video and the players are pretty helpless

He already was forced to miss most of last season on the Comm LIst even though he got paid

It makes no sense that video makes the punishment worse. If the CBA says 6 games it should be a 6 game suspension. If the CBA says 14 games then it should be 14 games. Goodell should follow the CBA. Just because there's video doesn't make what he did worse. Either way it's assault/DV/abuse

A pushing and shoving match with a man would probably not even get a game with no arrest

Goodell's power is unchecked and the NFLPA needs to step up in 2021
