KaVontae Turpin on why 'everybody is buying into' new Cowboys' culture, offensive role in 2025

I'm so excited that these players are running thier mouths. I can't wait to come back to this thread as we're counting the losses. Just remember folks, where was Schottenheimer when Dak was choking up a storm against GB a couple years ago. He sure as heck wasn't standing with Dak holding a tablet and going over what the defense is doing like we've seen McVay and Shanahan do with their QB. Dak was in a mental meltdown and not one coach tried to help him. Suddenly everything is different? Yeah right! I'm not buying it.
Unfortunately that's against the rules to come back to the thread and call people out and I do say unfortunately I was put on double secret probation for doing that.

But trust me there's nothing I'd like to do more than come back to the thread and take you and broke back mountain and the rest of the people that just spout negative crap before a game has even been played and rub your noses in it.

Because trust me I would be relentless as relentless as you people are spouting negative gibberish when nothing has even transpired yet to complain about

News flash dislikers….
The players do not care what you think.
As long as they are buying into it, and to make an effort to improve and be a winning team.
It matters what they believe. Not what some want to say to bring it down.
Players say certain things each offseason, no matter who the coach is, because they are supposed to. It doesn't show one way or the other that what they are parroting is true. It only shows that those that are parroting, aren't locker room cancers, most likely. Didn't players have a lot of positive things to say in the offseason even under Garrett? I remember talk about people buying into his system.

Because the Eagles as it currently stand are
1. A better managed franchise
2. A more talented franchise
3. A better coached franchise
Does not mean crap to me going into the new season. Anything can and will happen throughout the season.

I am not predicting a Dallas win. And I do have the Eagles as the favorite to win the NFCE.
But I am not going to roll over in fear going into the game like many fans seem to be doing.

So what is so wrong with that?
What do you want them to say ... like the dislikers on here ...hey man we suck, we have the worst players and coaching in the NFL.

There is nothing wrong with the players saying that. That just shows they are not locker room cancers, IMO. What I find silly is for people the be gullible enough to right off assume that we are having an successful off season program and get excited. A smarter fan, given this team's history, would take the wait and see approach, instead of silently mouthing off, "Culture, It's here"

They fall for it every year.

It’s truly remarkable.

Who said anything about rolling in fear? What you claim is fear is people looking at the matchup and realizing that you are going to be watching a team of individuals (the cowboys) playing against an opponent who actually plays as a team. If there is one major factor this team can’t seem to get ahead it is the inability to instill in them what it means to be a team and this is something that flows from the very top which enforces the idea that a collection of individuals with sub par coaching going to win it all.

I haven't seen this much positivity since Jason Garrett's t-shirt slogans or McCarthys playing loud rap music during training camp practice.

Jerry Jones sets the culture and he's still here.

Only an idiot would think that all players want to be here. With the size and guarantees of these new contracts, player have more leverage than ever. So, yeah....not all players wanted to be here last year and their efforts showed it.
So let's review here....

Dak.....highest paid
Ceedee....3rd highest paid
Micah....about to be highest paid.

Between "working" at camp cupcake, getting all the endorsements that come with being a Cowboy and having a newbie coach that just wants the players to like him only an idiot wouldn't want to "work" under these conditions.

The only players that wouldn't want to be here are the ones that want an organization that puts winning championships over being in the media's mouths constantly.

This maybe true .

But negative thoughts don't have any impact on the team either there's plenty of time for a bunch of negative thoughts.
Nobody's thoughts matter. Positive or negative.

I always thought the vocal anti-hater crowd were just projecting/compensating their very obvious insecurities. The perfect subject and venue, allowing them to flex with no accountability. Seeking to fill a void in themselves.

Now we're seeing evidence that at least some of them seem too truly believe they are directly involved with the fortunes of the team via their thoughts and feelings.

You live for these positive threads so you can dump on them.
To the serious and non-delusional football fan, these threads dump on themselves.

We wait for tangible evidence before getting lathered up.

Keep posting fluff garbage and keep getting hammered like chopped meat.....bring something of substance and then we can engage in an adult conversation and get "excited" about it

Its really that simple
