He wasn't good enough statistically to make the Pro Bowl...he only made it bc of his size and the fact he plays for Dallas.
He made it because he was dynamic, and that catches attention. Again, the four 20-plus punt returns and one 40-plus were second in the league (not just the NFC).

I agree that there were other players who deserved to go ahead of him and that being a Cowboy helped his profile, but those multiple longer returns helped him stand out in the national spotlight.

Let's hope KaVontae's main claim to fame isn't throwing out the 1st pitch to a Rangers' game. Just kidding, of course. He's a pretty talented guy, but I'm hoping to see him establish himself in being more than a punting return specialist, even though he's good at it. Maybe he'll carve out a spot as a receiver also, given time to develop his skills further there. He's, obviously, got the speed and quickness to cause opponents some misery.

This forum is now a site where people take their outside frustrations and vent on posts about Kevonte Turpin throwing out a first pitch lol. No way in heck these guys are actually this negative about Turpin, gotta be something else going on.

Sad stuff.

The pitch could have used a little more movement and more heat. If a batter had been at the plate, that would have been an easy home run. Turpin sucks.

Wonder if the Cowboys will find value in getting Turpin more touches in the offense this season or just victory formation?

Now this is something I find hard to believe anyone cares a rats rear end about
For that to be of interest it has to be the slowest of the slow
You know what I do is, I ignore things I have zero interest in. Move on you know?
Just like your post.
A CZer responded twice to a thread, claiming that he has "no interest in it."
Most likely nothing football team-related = roster addition with the Cowboys -- is going to happen until two weeks from tomorrow night.
If offseason tweets, videos of players' public appearances at events, workouts, their spare time activities (getting tattos)....does not interest you \ turns you off ...maybe it's time to take a "spring break" from the 'Fanzone' until April 27th.

Should have had #4 throw it.... the ball would have been about 15 feet off to the left

I think fans forget how much football he played before he even came here. With no off season
I hope we can get him on the field some with the offense
Yup. All those received punts and kicks he was likely to make a mistake sometime. That’s why I don’t hold his 2/3 errors against him, he’s probably fielded thousands of kicks in the past few years.

Hopefully MM gave him a playbook with some pass routes, unlike the playbook Moore gave him...empty....

Moore is just dumb and has no clue how to implement plays for player's skill set. His in-game situational awareness was trash too.

Hopefully Turpin can now receive more touches throughout the game.
