Twitter: KC provide blueprint on how to stop Eagles offense?

I think it's easy to say this the day after.

I don't think KC put out a blueprint on how to stop anything.

The Eagles just turned the ball over. If you turn the ball over you lose.

Did we put a blueprint out on how to stop the Giants or did they just give up the ball too much?

As long as Lesean McCoy and Mike Vick are standing that team will have a potent offense.

thats the blueprint for every team. turnovers cost you games. the chiefs would not have won if not for the to's.

McCoy is a beast. Those rushing yards compared to ours (37) says a lot. McCoy had some nice holes plus broke some tackles. Got some work to do there!

You didn't watch the game. He has sever runs 5+ yards in addition to the big runs. They dominated the chiefs on the ground.
Take away the carries of 18, 30, and 41, and McCoy's got 18 for 70. Its that kind of inconsistency that kills drives, and against a read option, I would consider that stopping the run, especially when there were a bunch of carriers for nothing.

Very true. He has the skill set that seperates him from a guy like Dunbar. or for that matter a few other RBs.

Keep their defense on the field as long as possibly. Let little Chipper run his fancy fast crap and then get at that tired defense that has been on the field 80% of the game.

giving up 260 yds rushing and 9.3 per carry is far from stopping the run. they beat the eagles because the eagles turned the ball over.they did'nt win because they limited them to only 9.3 yds per carry

Safe to say Chiefs set early template for how to slow Chip Kelly's offense - Man coverage w/ 1 safety over top shaded toward DeSean Jackson.

The Chiefs didn't do anything too different than what they did versus Dallas.

Yes, they gave up a few big plays, but DJackson and the other WRs and TEs were basically blanketed all game. They put pressure on the QB. They forced turnovers

Of course the one stat that sticks out is 260yds rushing. Dallas could muster only 37yds against that defense.

AND of course, we all know that when it comes to NFC East division games, you throw the records, standings, and everything else out the window because it's gonna be a brawl.

Turnovers will kill you every time.

KC were +2 in turnovers against us and anytime you do that you're overwhelming favourites to win the game.
And as for being +5 in a game, well...

lol ooook

They were behind the entire game. I think it's amazing they got 250 yards rushing and they were down 10 points within the first 5 minutes . Most teams would completely abandon the run game at that point.

KC didn't put out a blueprint. They just got some breaks early.

So you're WRONG! IN YOUR FACE!

First off, a bunch of those yards weren't on designed run plays.

Second, you have to run when you're QB can't hit the broad side of a barn and he's getting the crap beaten out of him.

Giving the Chiefs too much credit there.

The Chiefs gave up 13 completions and nine points in three quarters. They hit Vick repeatedly.

KC has given up 34 points in three games. Philly has given up twice that.

The Blueprint was to get a whole mess of turnovers and pressure/sack Vick a bunch of times, huh? That blueprint is just crazy enough to work!

Play press on the corners with a deep safety and pressure the QB. McCoy got his yards between the 20s, but the Eagles couldn't get in the end zone until late in the game.

So the Chiefs have shown the world how to stop Chip Kelly and this offense isn't going to work?

Noted.

The offense may or may not work but they didn't figure crap out. They just got turnovers.

I still think the #1 thing that teams should be taking from the Chip Kelly offense, especially the Cowboys, is how much running up to the line and snapping the ball on handoffs helps out you're running game.

The Patriots figured it out. I don't understand why we have to audible to the last second and not get production.

The eagles are 1-2 and we are claiming the game last night provided a blue print to beat them...looks like someone else got the blue print before the chiefs provided a blue print to beat them...if that makes sense. It's already been a long day.

That Eagles team is already looking exhausted, and it's only Week 3. These aren't college kids, Chip.

By the way, uh, you don't go for two in the first quarter in the pros, Chip. That was stupid.

So basically the Chargers figured it out and KC figured it out and now everyone has it figured out except the deadskins.

I like it.

It's more about the wear on the Eagles defense.

Whether the offense goes 3-and-out, or scores, it takes about two minutes. The defense is right back on the field no matter what.

By Week 10, they'll be toast.

^ this....

The Mike Leach conundrum.

In college he has far more players to rotate in on defense and offense and had an advantage recruiting with the Nike connection and also got to whip up on a ton of vastly inferior teams. This strategy is completely doomed.

He had a couple of big runs, but for the most part, the run game was shut down. The Eagles ended up in 2nd and third and long a lot b/c they failed to run the ball consistently.
I'm sorry, but you're just making stuff up here.

The Eagles ran 13 times on 1st and 10. Those runs gained 5, 1, 61, 4, 7, 8, 5, 2, 3, 7, 4, -2, 41 yards. That's astonishingly good. Let's look at the bad ones:
The one-yarder was followed by a 6-yard run on 2nd-and-9 that was converted to a first down.
The 2-yarder was followed by an 8-yard pass to convert.
The 2 yard loss was not converted. So there's one.
Overall, the Eagles ran 13 times on 1st down. Ten of those times, they converted for a new set of downs or a TD. One of the times they failed was after a 7-yard run on 1st down.

You've got to be kidding. You're "Taking away" his 3 longest runs and he's still only 2 yards under 4 per carry and you call THAT inconsistent?

LMAO!
