Gotta be attitude. Doesn't John Lynch have draft philosophy as to what character traits he's looking for with new players? Im guessing Cannon probably didn't meet his criteria.

Maybe he should go to a team that is in the habit of hiring incompetent people to important positions to "train them" because the GM does not have to worry about winning or being fired

Where did the sense of entitlement come from? Not getting drafted should have been a large clue.

I was interested when the 49ers cut Mike Davis if he was worth looking at over Jahad Temple RB guy. Not sure how bad Davis is.

He's just too raw probably. That Briles offense is so robotic, I would not touch any of the QBs from that system and then the WRs that come out of there are hit or miss. He should have either stayed in school another year and learned to adapt his game under the new coach's offense (which is most likely going to be a pro-style offense) or transferred and sat out a year.
