I see a lot of clamoring for Jayron to be back in the fold but what if they went a different route and signed tyrann FINALLY ?

tyrann is only 29 and has been the staple of top safety play for years.

curious to see everyone opinion on the matter.

Good question.

If nothing else it may give us a bit of leverage in the Kearse negotiations. Apparently he wants a bundle off one good season.

TM is much more versatile, free safety type who will cost too much.Kearse is more box safety, better close to LOS who’s solid covering TE’s.Would prefer to sign Kearse who is a perfect fit for what Quinn does & be much cheaper.

Kearse was awesome covering TEs and being a thumper in the box…. That FS role looks like it’s getting covered by paying Hooker his deal

The Chiefs ran out and quickly signed another safety for $10.5 million a year. That tells me that Mathieu’s demands far exceed that.

Love Badger. If price ends up comparable— I’d sign him over Kearse. Not likely though. And Kearse is a nice piece in our D with his size and versatility— so I am fine if they stick with the guy they know in this instance

Wilson is a better SS ,hooker is a hybrid can do FS IMHO. thing is Kersee is more of a SS as well..i believe with this signing of hooker, maybe Kearse is gone and better suited FS like maybe the honey badger is a better fit if the moneys about the same between he and Kearse,. Kearse and Wilson are pretty similar players and i believe Wilson still here correct?
