Kearse: 6th season, 1st round pick, 16th overall, 8 year contract worth $66 million dollar w/ $16 million signing bonus

vs

Rob Pettiti: 6th round pick, 209th overall, Rookie

Kearse = 1 tackle, 0 sacks

I'd give this one to RP

Overall, I think JK is really ripping off the igglets. He finally had a sack last weekend, the one before that came over a year earlier...hilarious. You really have to think back to remember when he was an elite player and warranted "the freak" title. Seems more like "the fraud" nowadays.

I've always considered Kearse overrated. I admit he has talent, but he doesn't have consistent production. Huge props to Pettiti and the TEs though, Kearse was completely invisible.

He has physical talent. He isnt fundamentally sound. That's why he'll fall in the 7-9 sack range rather then the 15 or more he is capable of. He can't just run around blockers, otherwise teams would draft 4.3 speed players and play them at DE.

This is how you make a name for yourself! I am quite pleased with Pettiti! Parcells' 05 draft is looking more and more like a homerun!

Kearse did not play well today. But he has keep tight ends and backs occupied for the Eagles this season. He's also forced two INTs to be thrown. Even when Dallas kept a TE in to help on Kearse (Campbell) Eagles still couldn't cover what was left.

He is ripping off the Eagles, but thats the price you pay if you can't draft a DE.

i think the ankle injuries really slowed him down and his speed and quickness was what made him tough to block. Without that, he's just another big guy with some talent, which the league is loaded with.

OL was a total 180 from what we saw last week

that said, stoning Jevon Kearse isnt that big of a deal...the guy is easily one of the most overrated, overhyped players in the NFL...he hasnt even been a "good" player in 3 or 4 years...right now he's pretty mediocre

What a kiss up statement. Unbelieveable. I wonder what Pittdawg has to say about that?

Congrats to Pittdawg. Heck of an effort by Rob.

In addition to his work on Kerse, I remember a great block on a WR screen.

Strong.
