Kearse was such a great signing

He's become so critical to success of defense.

Like Diggs, Gregory and Parsons - the defense goes as he goes.

And he's still figuring this stuff out on the fly.

Crazy.

About time a signing of that level paid off.

Sometimes being in the right situation with the right coaches can make all the difference.

He should earn a well deserved pay day after the season. Good for him and the team.

He should get it sooner than later, but we know how this typically goes.

Kearse imo has been the biggest reason why this defense has gone from laughing stock and historically bad to competent-to-at times great. Obv guys like Parsons, Diggs, RG94 and Osa have been massive and just as important and maybe more effective on the field, but i believe Kearse has brought an attitude and style with him that almost fuels this Defense and gives them their identity. He's a tough guy and our Defense now has that "im tougher than you mfer and i will not back down" mentality that other offenses can see and feel. That is HUGE and something we havent seen here since the days of Jay Ratliff and Chris Canty, IMHO.

Nice post.

He was a low risk high reward signing. Not sure why anyone had a real issue with the signing.
I think many of us wanted a bigger name player.

I'm not sure Kearse was signed to be a starter, but I suppose he played his way into it.

Don't want to dwell on the negative during this type of a season, but Kazee has been kinda meh IMO.

Same with Neal. Considering Hooker has been healthy, I would have figured more plays from him as well.

Not knocking these guys, just a surprise that Kearse ended up as the best of the bunch.
