Yeah, but it could lead unwanted attention to their house from random people. Call out the players all you want on social media, but doxxing is bad.
Agreed. No matter whether you like a player, politician, business owner, whatever it is. This goes beyond sports

Many of them still have wives and/ or kids at home

Like you said call them out in the public square but going after people and their families in their homes is inexcusable and shouldn't be tolerated

One thing to comment on a forum or joke around about players and insult them

Another to go to this level

Again, this happens to Average Joes practically every day. Show me a list of the athletes that even gave a damn.

Why is is this such a concern when it happens to celebrities but nobody gives a darn when it's a non-famous person?

It seems like it's commonplace anymore to have private information leaked. It happens in school, politics, now sports. Social media is one creation we could have done without.

I don't disagree with you

I guess I should have included this in my post but you're 100% correct. This shouldn't happen to anyone just because they did or said something unpopular

Exactly. Nobody deserves to have their families or homes exposed like that.

Stay off social media, and if you choose to go on it use an alias like your president, or those in government.

Are we sure they were Cowboys fans? Hard to believe fans of the team would do it.
Bingo. That was my question too. It's still reprehensible but I want to be sure the right party is blamed.

BTW, why should we be surprised? Members of the SCOTUS has their personal info published and people harrased them at THEIR HOMES and the fed did nothing to protect them......it's been tolerated, encouraged and accepted.

I just think it's funny how the headline says Dallas fans on social media posted the numbers and everyone is quick to accept it. Yeah..... because we all without a doubt that everyone on Twitter is exactly who they represent themself to be. :muttley:

I think society is embracing this kind of thing....it's happened right here with our own members

A couple weeks ago, it was posted that Hurts refused to shake hands with Dak after we beat the eagles. Naturally, some of our "Super Fans" jumped on this as an excuse to belittle Hurts with derogatory name calling....and I get that.

but what was more revealing is that AFTER the evidence was shown that Dak and Hurts actually HUGGED is that they REFUSED to acknowledge the evidence of that.

It's shown that the most bellicose cowboys homers here are the most intolerant and angry people i've ever seen. Ready to insult and virtue signal at the same time
