If Dre doesn't drop this pick 6 (5:12 into this video) I tend to wonder if even the most hard core Dak fans might have given up on him too. This would have turned the game into a 26-12 score with just 2:50 left in the game.

The problem with that is that you can do what-ifs throughout every game. We had chances in that game to make the score better, too. Using one what-if to berate a player isn't fair unless you are going to consider every what-if: What if so-and-so caught that pass? What if that lineman help up the defender for another second? What if Pollard had not got hurt? Etc.

Another lucky moment for 666.
The pass to Gallup was another Dak inaccurate pass.
His luck runs out this coming season......
P.S. Nice passing Dakko.....
Haters, gonna hate....just born that way.. :muttley:

By then, the game was in niners control and they had us peddling back. on that play, they rushed 4, and dropped 7 and still created pressure. we didn't have an answer for their front 4.
by the same token
if Pollard doesn't get hurt, I wonder if game out come would have been different.
if Diggs makes a mid field tackle and breaks up and easy pass against Kittle, I wonder if Niners get a chance to score
If Diggs doesn't drop an easy interception that hit him square in the hands near goal line, I wonder if niners score

If somehow cowboys would have won that game, I wonder how many excuses and comments you would have trying not to credit Dak, but here we are.
If "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts, oh what a party it would be.
(You're correct though.)

You have to wonder if in a attempt to throw accurate passes Dak is zoning in on his receivers and flat not seeing defenders.
It happens.
Then the next play is a glaring example of the scouting report on Dak "inconsistent accuracy " 2 passes may be good, but the 3rd looks like that one.
The only shot open the box defenses have put Dak in is a return to Linehans 2016 mobility.

Just on Dak....you all don't know enough a team sport to know any better.
Yep like some guy hating on the coach/s. I guess that is okay? If you see something on a team that needs update or improved it's okay not to ever try to update or improve that position.

smh

We can’t have that man, we might accidentally win something.
I rather not win anything as long as my favorite player is still on the team. I can't believe zeke isn't back on the team since his record is 61-36.. He won all those games by himself and all the losses were on the team.

When we lost Pollard, the dog was dead then. We had no answer or replacement on offense and worse yet, SF knew it too.
Oh they had a guy named Malik Davis that wanted to play but the coaches didn't like his comment the week before. The Coaching staff should of been fired for not playing Davis. He had shown more pop than Zeke everytime he was given a chance but that was very few. But that's the Cowboys way to play the guy who is getting paid the most.

Saying Garrett Sucks was a running joke. Big difference. I didn't like him personally

Agree, I use to like the RB that played with Egirls and then came to us, I think after the SB they won. I thought he should have gotten more run than he did when here.

Not sure why people put so much into tony in this game. he had 6 carries for 22 yards...one of which did go for 10. 3.7 ypc. One more yard than Zeke...even with the 10 yard play.

I just don't see Tony dominating the 9ers as hard as some say.

Could he have provided SOME spark and stability throughout out the game?

Maybe.

The ironic thing is that those slamming the OP for his "if," use the Pollard injury excuse as their number 1 "if" for why we surely would have won the game. Same as it ever was with humanity.

At the end of Quarter 3, SF had 9 points.
They did but the defense had two chances to make those points even less. Its like the Eagles in the SB....Eagles offense played well enough to win but the Hurts fumble essentially cost them even though Eagles defense was a far bigger issue.

Agree but the niners knew that Tony could take it to the house, one wrong move and it’s off the races. Once he went down, who else could do that and even put the fear in them.
