All depends on Bland, and if he is back to himself making plays prior to his injuries.

Revel, Durant, Bland are the top 3, and are all good.
Carson is decent but needs to learn not be so hands on.
Speed I am not sure about.

I want to see how they do first. And with a better front 7, and if the pass rush is there. Then they can be pretty good in the secondary.
Don not forget that Downs is out there to provide coverage help.

I’d argue that CB is the weakest. bland is the only one who has done anything and he still needs to prove he’s back from foot surgery.

Porter is a really aggressive man coverage CB. He’s big and physical. The issue is that Parker will probably want to run a lot of zone. He managed to make it work great with Pat Surtain II, who is more similar to Porter than Bland is. Of course, Surtain is truly elite at pretty much everything, zone and man.

An ideal Parker CB would be a guy like Witherspoon or McDuffie.

Or course, one of the cool things about a fangio style defense is you don’t absolutely have to get an elite CB because the scheme helps smooth things out and there’s not a need to leave a single CB on an island

An argument can also be made for Edge because we’re going for the “platoon of mid” strategy because we don’t have any great ones. The issue there is that adding more jags wouldn’t move the needle because we already have rotaional depth.

I wish Dallas would have held on to Keegan the offensive tackle and put Carson on the practice squad myself. Carson looks like a bad interference call at the worst time to me, he looks to have regressed to me. Keegan looked good in the preseason in my eyes, looked to have some good feet and good technique.
