In order to win this Sat night, Dallas best run the ball and stop putting the ball in Romo's hands. We need to be more conservative with the offense this week. You need to sit JJ down and let Barber run. Establish the run first, then worry about passing. Pull the same game plan that you had with Bledsoe and stop passing first. Pull the same playbook you had for Quincy Carter, I don't care, but stop passing on every down. Ball control!

Hopefully this will keep Seattle's offense off the field. No one here is confident that we can stop anyone. I am sure that a lot of us could dust the cleats off and burn our secondary. Holmgren is licking his chops. The west coast offense has killed us this year. Dink & dunk.

This would be my game plan even with the Seahawks having a depleated secondary. Thoughts?

All of this is out the window when the defense can't stop anybody.

Barber has done nothing of late and Julius has had success. Why would you bench Julius?

I would bench Julius because he is not the physical back that Barber is. I think Barber would be better to wear the defense down and then put JJ in for the finishing touches, long runs, etc. Why not, clearly the running game is not working over the last couple of weeks. That is why I say change it up.

Or if you keep him in, then start doing my lead draws which is his best running play....

Uh, you do realize they are missing like all of their cornerbacks right?

Championship!

We can easily put up 40 points but our defense can easily give up 49:banghead:

I totally agree I thought you meant to bench JJ for the whole game.

....

Barber has gained 6 yds on his last 8 carries...that included being stoned 3 times from the GL against a bad run defense...why is you people continue to insist changing RB's is going to make any difference whatsoever?

I like the idea of running the ball more, but that is difficult to do when your running game blows. It's especially hard when your defense puts you in the hole by giving up so many points. The conservative ball-controll offense doesn't work unless you have a running game and a decent defense. Who knows... maybe everything will change on Saturday. If we don't win Saturday, Jerry needs to make some changes at the top... head coach and defensive coordinator.

P.S. I would like to see Barber start. It can't hurt.
