He is not the same player that could carry Ohio State. Or the offensive line was not good enough to create openings for him. Zeke was benifited from a great Ohio State offensive line and in his first Dallas year the same. WO a great offensive line, Zeke just isn't what he is hyped to be.

Zeke has already spoken about a willingness to take a paycut. Much like DLaw who lost a step, Zeke still has talent. Short yardage, blocking, pass receiving. Don't pay him like a game changer and it makes sense to me.

There isnt a GM in football that would keep Zeke under these circumstances.

Jerry on the other hand will probably keep him around and feature him.
But Dallas can tag a RB with a wrecked leg?

Pretty much every fan and talking media heads feel the best option is to let him go. Well besides the few zeke die hards left

So Jerry is going to do the opposite of what 90% of people would do

To paraphrase Hall and Oates:

He gone! Oh oh oh oh, I
We've got to learn how to face it
He's gone, oh oh oh oh, I
It'll take 3 Fournettes to replace him
He's gone ... What went wrong?

Apples and oranges.

DLaw is still average to above average with some talent. He can still produce a good play every now and then.

Zeke on the other hand, does very little that any other RB could easily do. He is a progress stopper and has absolutely NO upside or big play ability. Any Zeke play is a wasted opportunity.

His last 50 rushes went for 100 yards. His yards per reception was 5.4, which is just terrible. Short yardage and blocking just aren't enough to justify having him on the field.

How is that Zeke hate?

Zeke at this point of his career provides nothing to this team besides a wasted spot on the roster that could be filled by someone younger and cheaper that could provide fresh legs. It's just reality

Cut him and if he wants to come back, that is fine but no team is giving him any real money. Also I do think Jerry wants him to be here but maybe someone with sense steps in.

Wrecked? A little dramatic isnt it?

Personally I would tag Pollard in order to trade him. I wouldnt pay him 10m. Maybe for one year depending on what we get in the draft.

Im not for paying any back big money. Or using a first round pick on one.
