Take these to your hater friends. You know all the things that matter when their team is on top , but now it doesn't matter much. All I hear is Dallas doesn't have a defense built for the playoffs. I'm tired of hearing we are too young for the big show. Whatever, we are proving everyone wrong. I talked to John Clayton earlier in the year at an airport. We were 4-1 at the time. He said there was NO WAY we would make the playoffs with a rookie QB, and that Dak would be a backup for the next 3-4 years. HaHaHaHaHa. Wish I would've recorded it. Here are a few tidbits for you to run by your hater friends. .

The Numbers don't lie.
#4 in points allowed , #1 in rushing yards allowed, #4 in Points scored, #4 in total yards, #2 in rushing yards. Dak is the third highest rated passer in the NFL. Zeke is the top RB in the NFL. There are way tooooo many analytical stats to list, but you can find them everywhere.

Go Cowboys, keep proving the world wrong!!!

I remember the first run of bowls in the 90's, 91-92 it was said the team was too young and would make the playoffs but wouldn't be able to get to the super bowl let alone win it. They dropped the dogs on Buffalo in tha super bowl and beat down every team on the way. This team reminds me of that 91-92 team, led by youngsters and a defense no one trusted and made up of players from scrap heaps. They found their identity on the way just as this team is, in not looking at six anymore, like I told my Giants loving nieces and nephews last night, I think the Cowboys will be the first to seven. And to lay the Dak/Romo mess to rest, is love to see Romo win it all but...

"Dak, once again, never approached the hint of an interception. The fact that a rookie QB can throw 23 touchdowns with a 105 QB rating and only throw 4 interceptions in an entire year of relevant NFL football, while being criticized by a large portion of his own fanbase is truly remarkable. Then, you add in the other 6 touchdowns he scored on his feet and you have a 29 to 4 season in the TD/INT department, which is generally known as Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady territory. And he is a rookie. Who was picked at #135. Evidently, some people would look a gift horse in the mouth."

I'm over listening to people and their excuses or fortune-telling on the Cowboys future. 13-2 with HFA and a first round bye says it all. Proof is in the pudding! You can hate on facts all day long but the reality is they still exist.

When it comes to our defense, I hang my hat on the fact that we're 4th in points allowed. That's not a 3 or 4 game sample, that's one game short of a full season. People can bash them all they want for not being an "elite" defense, but they are what they are...a very good one.

I have been told many times by George Jefferson on First Take that "We are an accident to be waiting"

31 out of 32 teams are "an accident waiting to happen". Stephen A. Smith is playing the field and should be called out on that.

While I was scared of our D early in the season the last few weeks pass rush has given me a lot of hope. Our D in the 1st half of the Lions game was pitiful but we straightened it out.

I think pass rush, Dak as a rookie in the playoffs and offensive penalties will be the deciding factors for our playoff run.

Yup and more on that 92 team :

Too young to get past the Eagles, and Niners
Bills been there before, Boys will be intimidated
Small quick, speed defenses don't win SBs
No team with a NFL leading rusher has ever won the SB
A college national championship coach has never coached a team to a win in the SB
They are a year or two a way

That team passed each and every test.

Another point is that there is no guarantee that the constellation will line up again this way for the Cowboys anytime soon. We could lose key coaches and players next year, guys can get seriously injured, etc. Live for the moment and grab this opportunity.

I agree 100% with grabbing this opportunity, but by the looks of things, there's a pretty large window. A couple of years ago I seem no plan by this organization, I have to admit I was wrong and I'm glad I was. We will be right here for a while. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!!!

The defenses halftime adjustment was something we are not used to seeing. Usually they'd stink... then stink some more.

Thanks but the only statistical thing I care about is a Super Bowl and I want many of them.

I'm already happy everything else is icing on the cake
sounds like blasphemy you say, you'd have all have taken 13-2 at the beginning of the season
here's to some icing
