They didn't really "beat" the Skins as much as the Skins beat themselves.

The Rams didn't score an offensive TD.

They played far better defense against Washington than we did. I watched alot of the game and they definitely earned the win.

The Cowboys don't play defense like Washington does. I suspect the Rams will easily score a few TDs on Sunday. The question is, can Johnson score more?

I don't see it. Their Oline is pretty banged up, they have no weapons to compliment Jackson and Holt and their QB is skiddish. I believe the defense will hit Bulger in the mouth early and often, making his day rough.

The Rams were horrible offensively. They didn't come close to scoring an offensive TD. They kick 4 fields goals, 2 of them 50+ yarders. 2 of the field goals can be attributed to the Commanders punter unable to kick the ball across the 50 yard line. They stink. It was the flukiest win of the season.

The defense was embarassed by that performance. That showed against the Cards. They had a total of 276 yards of offense, no rusher had more than 29 yards, Warner was sacked and intercepted. The defense did allow 17 points from the Cards offense.

Arizona is a much better team than the Bungals, and this defense played better last week. I just have a feeling this is where the defense turns the corner.

I think we are going to play the Rams, I am expecting a tough game because they have all been tough games this season.

gee the defense I saw in the 2nd half vs the Cards was awful...first three times they had the ball they scored easily...

In the first half Warner had an unforced fumble and the special teams fumbled a short kickoff...niether of those things had anything to do with our defense

Their offense has four touchdowns -- total -- in five games.

Ours has at least three TDs in every game.

I don't care how the rams won, the fact is they did and showed more effort under haslett than they even did under linehan. They probably won't go anywhere, but they will be UP for this game. It's a road game and im loking for a tough fight from the rams.

Hmmm...I'd say the defenses are almost identical.

Pass Defense
Commanders - 118/201, 1212 Yards, 6.3 Att, 6 TDs
Cowboys - 123/200, 1277 Yards, 6.8 Att, 8 TDs

Rush Defense
Commanders - 128 Att, 503 Yards, 3.9 YPA, 3 TDs
Cowboys - 141 Att, 525 Yards, 3.7 YPA, 3 TDs

The only significant difference is INTs, and it's pretty much a fluke that we've had so few.

It's amazing how expectations come into play. The Commanders weren't expected to have a good defense, but the Cowboys were. So when they put up nearly identical numbers, the Cowboys defense is considered weak and the Commanders' defense is considered strong.

200 TOTAL yards (and 43 of that came on the last play of the game...f-ing Torrence...)

This Cowboys team is in no position to underestimate an opponent or overestimate itself.

A W is a W and an L is an L.

So, are the Cowboys overrated or underrated as of today? ;)

When they needed the plays they made them. Warner to Fitzgerald, both made perfect throws and catches at the right times. Kept them in the game.
