Keeping Kitna out of harm's way Sunday

Giants have knocked 5 QBs out of games this year. It's going to be lots of bubble screens and three-step drops this weekend for Kitna I bet. Not much time for stuff downfield. Run the ball, play action, except we don't do play action.

Don't want to be a pessimist, but I hope we don't see McGee taking snaps Sunday. Crayton used to be our emergency QB, I don't know who it is nowadays.

I remember the word on Choice two years ago was that he was our best pass protector at RB. I wonder if Choice has regressed or he's just not getting in the game on passing downs.

I think we're going to see the same crap you saw when they were overly cautious with Romo and the blocking. A lot of quick passes, dump offs, screens. Very few deep plays or deep routes.

I don't remember Choice EVER being considered the best in pass protection, you may be confusing him with Barber. Also if Kitna goes down, no question McGee takes over.

With our O-line and giants D-line, you might get your wish.

Who backs up McGee?:omg:

Well you either have to max protect or spread them very thin. I'd throw 4 wrs out there and see what happens.

If Kitna and McGee both went down, I assume we'd be looking at Choice and the Wildcat formation.

The Wildcat is limited, but probably is a better than any other option that would be available to the team.

I would put dez back there. I bet he has a pretty good arm and is atleast a playmaker. We would definitely get killed if we ran that the whole game though :)

This is a good time to spread them out and run draws, WR screens and quick slants.

Have a 3 receiver bunch formation on one side with RW, Dez, and Bennette and have Austin on the other side. Fake a quick pass to Austin to have the defense run to that side for a sec then throw a WR screen to Dez with RW and Bennette blocking

Run the same play again later except this time give the ball to Felix running to the 3 receiver side with the receivers blocking for him up front.

The NFL frowns on having 13 men on the field..............We need a distraction!

Unless they run the ball 95% of the time, or throw nothing but quick 2 step smoke screens and junk like that, Kitna is going to get hit, and hit a lot.

Yeah and can we roll him out once in a while?

Just run the ball 50 times. Sure, our offensive line sucks but some blame also goes to the 2nd and 3rd and long situations they are always put in because of incomplete passes on 1st and 2nd or penalties. Just run it all day like the Cleveland Browns do.

I don't know, think that now they are wearing suites - they are also into grafitti? Just saying with the apparent character issues this team displays...instead of team play.

I admittedly don't think suits will translate to much to this group in any way.
Might actually cause a revolt.:) I just want to see some "play" period.
We have seen them roll over, now I want to see if they can attack.
