Man, talk about “we like our guys”.

All this organization wants to do is to maintain status quo.
that is the easy thing to do , little risk or brain power needed to just resign your guys.

In this case I think wilson should be kept, if quinn likes him too.

In their defense, this time the S's are a pretty solid group
No argument there. My concern is with any talk of potentially using the franchise tag on Wilson.

Pretty solid is a lot different than franchise for me.

Kept? Sure. Tagged? Absolutely not.

It’s been many years since we could say the safeties are solid. I would agree they need to figure out how to keep it going.

Wilson is more than just an in the box safety. He sets the tone for the back half of the D, along with Kearse
And don't forget his sacks on S blitzes. He was pretty good at that, either a sack or pressure, forgiving an errant throw, or allowed a DL get to the QB.
Now was it Wilson, or how Quinn used him. Obviously some of both. Could Quinn do this with another S as well?
I prefer to keep Wilson and the known factor as opposed to finding a new guy to try.
However, only if the cost is right, don't over pay.

Wilson is our biggest hitter and surest tackler. We gotta keep him man!
And another player that the former regime wouldn't get on the field even though we desperately needed help at the position.
