Keeping teams honest

I keep thinking about that draft pick. Having Bryant, Austin, and Williams on the field at the same time...

That leaves one of these guys up against a 3rd corner, who is generally not nearly qualified to cover one of them.

It forces teams to stay in the nickel, which is already weaker against the run.

It also means teams can't blitz the most blitzed offensive line in the nfl.

Blitzing from the nickel leaves either Witten or Felix Jones open or takes a safety out of deep coverage which they will need to be in almost constantly.

The middle of the field will also be open. No more "giving" Witten anything. You can't double anyone on offense.

We just need to put together an offensive line that will allow Romo blitzed or not blitzed to pick apart defenses.

It also keeps opposing teams offenses in check. Everyone knows what happens when you turn the ball over against New Orleans. You get punished, and the game gets one sided very fast.

This leads teams to run the ball more, or have shorter passing routes. A formula which has proven to fail against this cowboys defense.

We get a playmaking safety like Atogwe or Sharper and this defense is probably the best in the league.
