Rmember, Keith Davis was good against the run but not hte pass, much like Roy Willimas. And if he shows he can play in that limited role, then Dallas can wsign him long terms after the season - granting Davis' wish to play Safety - and ship off Roy Williams once and for all.

Q: Do you fully implement Keith Davis this week?
Yeah, Keith is back with us and working mainly with all our special teams. He's a core special teams player, he's on most of the units, familiar with our calls on the punt team. He's the personal protector, that's what he played last year. He's gone back in there and feels comfortable playing that and we feel comfortable with him there. Of course, kickoff coverage, our coverage teams, he's a big plus. He's gone back in and is ready to go.
I agree. He never really has. He has zero interceptions in his NFL career that spans 6 seasons and only 3 career forced fumbles. He's not a great tackler by any wild stretch. On Special Teams he can contribute, but he'd really better excel. Otherwise this move was a yawner.bbgun;2233962 said:He better be good, 'cause he's not helping us anywhere else on the field.

Let me put it this way. On Special Teams he has never been a Kenny Gant, Bill Bates, or Jim Schwantz. He better be now.
