I get it, Dak is not an elite QB. But, jeezus, the OL they trotted out yesterday had about the worst performance I have seen since the Staubach days.
Facts. Dak was bad but the whole team was bad and the offensive struggles start with the oline. Its like when our center went down our offensive line lost its Mojo. I just don't see it getting better anytime soon unless the center comes back 100% healthy.

I don’t think Dak had ample protection, he was being harassed and forced to move constantly in the pocket.
I rewatched the game. Dak's pocket was clean on most passing plays. He got into trouble when he felt pressure that wasn't there and ran into the D-linemen. He also had several chances to run for big gains, but held the ball and made poor throw. This crap show was ALL on Dak. No way to sugarcoat it.

Glad he said it wasnt a preseason gameplan. You know the homers that cover this team were trying to suggest it was.
Preseason and regular season game plan is the same I'm tired of hearing there's a difference

So obviously the playcalling was vanilla. That’s the point in a meaningless game where you are trying to protect players. No one should criticize Moore for that, BUT Moore may have accidentally proven something….Dak can’t perform in a vanilla offense.

In a vanilla offense a QB must have good fundamentals: Footwork, pocket presence, reading ability, timing, and accuracy. Those are all things we constantly criticize Dak for but creative play calling, especially play action, bails him out of having to do some of those things.

The result of forcing Dak to play purely fundamental QB: 37%, 45.8…..yikes

Here’s how you get the run game going:

Start Pollard. Run him wide. Get him on the edge.

Spell him with Davis.

Zeke is like a washed up Earl Campbell.
Thank you !!! Somebody gets it !! Thats what we have to do. Especially when I watch 15 other teams do it every week.

Because he (Moore) sucks at playcalling and designing better pass route concepts, that's why. Oh, and not getting after your Oline, WRs and QBs coaches as well.
If he sucks at playcalling, Dak is stupid, Zeke is crap, the OL is a shuffled mess, and we have no true #2 WR, how did we manage to do 30 PPG? Throw in a regressing D and a puppet HC, yet we’re somehow 12-5!

Yeah, we got problems, yes I’m worried, and yes the Washington game was a giant load of CRAP! But can’t we at least wait to get bounced out before we jump on our knives?

When I say Moore sucks, I'm talking about he not being able to scheme our limited receivers open and quickly. That makes it so hard on Dak with this Oline which is currently ranked 29th out of 32 in pass block win rate, hence so many risky throws into coverage where Dak now leads the league in interceptions while entering the playoffs. Absolutely inexcusable. Moore knows our current receivers (aside from CeeDee) are limited, so why doesn't he scheme them open with picks, stem and stack/depth formations, bunch sets, stick concepts, mesh concepts, cleaner & quicker cuts, leverage & positioning, etc. Moore should be side-by-side with our receivers coach every game on the sidelines and helping get these receivers to gain more separation and quicker and more crisp cuts early and often. One didn't see that at all against the Commanders or in other games where the passing game has struggled.

Not true. I've got the All 22. Not what I saw.

Is a bad mix, sometimes Dak had time and ran himself into pressure, other times he threw to the wrong guy, had wide open targets and didn't see them.
OTOH routes were too slow developing, a bunch of curls for more than 10 yards and the WR rounded their routs not giving Dak a flat target.

If the OC or the HC can not fix that, they really need to go and bring a more in your face type of guy, Moore is too buddy-buddy with Dak and the Offense IMO.
Bad team culture I guess.
