So on our first touchdown its a beautifully designed play. I think zeke went one way, pollard the other. You can clearly see how the misdirection affected the defense. Last week against the colts we had Ceedee running those jet sweeps... dak running with the ball.

So KM does it on the first drive then doesn't do it again? I don't understand why he doesn't. It can be an effective part of the offense. Not only to help move the chains, but help dak get into rhythm as well. But we go away from it?

Its just mind boggling to me. Teams use that misdirection stuff the entire game, and it works for them. With the weapons and oline we have (not to mention dak running). It needs to be a bigger part of this offense.

I think teams are beginning to move defenders around in order to get us to audible into a certain play which they know will be coming. Because somebody's reading something into some of our plays.

This game reminds me of the Broncos game last year. Cowboys came in as BIG favorites against an inferior team, and they showed the rest of the league how to beat the Cowboys. Expect more of the same. Against better teams ( and they’re ALL better than the Texans) they won’t have a chance to win it at the end.

You try to air it out in one of the all time rush defenses in nfl history and you have pollard and Zeke?

I get that Dak gets some of this pie but my goodness what was he thinking
When the Offense ran it often on 1st or 2nd down, many times we ran for close to zero yards, this forcing 2nd or 3rd and longs...which meant having to revert to the pass.

That's nothing new, it's what's happened throughout the season. You run early to prosper late. What we did was disrespect and panicked, going to the pass too soon.

When it's 3rd and long, are we supposed to run the ball?

When it's 2nd and over 10 (due to a penalty), are we supposed to run the ball?

How many times did our RBs struggle to pick up 1st downs on short yardage conversions, even at the goal line?

We only had 25 running plays,10 of those were in the first three drives where we scored 14 pts.

Houston played a lot of cover two, but they kept changing out who'd be dropping back to the center of the field. So Moore started to run WR's on the edges more to open up the middle. And it worked to perfection late in the game.
