Kellen Moore Play Calling

Tedy Bruschi saying what a lot of us have been writing on this board about Air Coryell Jr.

This game reminds me of the Broncos game last year. Cowboys came in as BIG favorites against an inferior team, and they showed the rest of the league how to beat the Cowboys. Expect more of the same. Against better teams ( and they’re ALL better than the Texans) they won’t have a chance to win it at the end.

So we will never win another win another game this season? That is exactly what your post is saying.

I’ll respect Kellen after the offense runs it first successful screen
Screens and Draws are lacking here. We ran a few draws against greenbay and reaped rewards. Especially with a fast back like pollard it’s perfect on a 2 and long since the D is expecting pass anyway. Same goes for screens.

He has two starting WRs playing tip ball consistently like it’s a basketball.
Dak had game winning TD does Parson even have a game winning sack or tackle?
After Prescot's last pick, he's dam lucky the defense stopped the Texans because had they scored it was game over! Prescot is what he is and that's an insanely over hyped and overpaid joke of a QB in the NFL! Bring back Rush if the Boys want to get past the ONE and Done 2.0 playoffs this year!

Does Moore devise the plays were Dak drops back 20 yards to throw 3 yards past line of scrimmage or is that just Dak’s skill at work?

So on our first touchdown its a beautifully designed play. I think zeke went one way, pollard the other. You can clearly see how the misdirection affected the defense. Last week against the colts we had Ceedee running those jet sweeps... dak running with the ball.

So KM does it on the first drive then doesn't do it again? I don't understand why he doesn't. It can be an effective part of the offense. Not only to help move the chains, but help dak get into rhythm as well. But we go away from it?

Its just mind boggling to me. Teams use that misdirection stuff the entire game, and it works for them. With the weapons and oline we have (not to mention dak running). It needs to be a bigger part of this offense.

when it works it’s great when it doesn’t it sucks.

classic rant of a typical football layman.

When the Offense ran it often on 1st or 2nd down, many times we ran for close to zero yards, this forcing 2nd or 3rd and longs...which meant having to revert to the pass.
These clowns don’t understand football. Run game got stuffed for the most part. Featuring zeke was a big part of that.

Oh I don't know since it was against a DOUBLE DIGIT DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If their opponent was JUST an average team you can bet the house the Boys would have lost another game because of Prescot's insanely poor play!

Are you seriously crying about a WIN?????

All the fake fans need to get off the bus.

You are really insufferable.

Enough with the lies.

Zeke had higher ypc than TP for the ENTIRE game.

And when Cowboys played Zeke when game was on the line because he was not only outperforming TP but he is more valuable in pass pro and more dependable runner in the redzone when field shrinks and becomes more physical.

Cowboys need to feed hot hand, and at point in game, hot hand was Zeke.

More than half of Dak's interceptions this year have been on tipped passes or his arm being hit.

I don't put those on him.

Oh and receivers running the route wrong and Dak throwing it correctly and the receivers hanging him out to dry.

Schultz does this a lot by not crossing the face of the safety (cee dee as well), or running the route wrong so he is not carrying his man out of the area Dak is supposed to throw to.

Some of his receivers are not fighting for the ball either like TO and Irvin would do!

Every time I try to defend KMO, thinking he's starting to get it, he goes and throws up a stinker like this last game. No matter how you slice it, the playcalling didn't make sense in this game.

It was an arrogant, sloppy game plan, and it back fired exactly as expected.
He had few questionable pay calls BUT ,

Many big plays were open , wasn't on Moore when many players failed to execute

Not all on KM 2 dropped Tds, some bad routes ran, dropped passes, OL getting pushed into Dak a few times effecting plays., come on man,., just stop bad game all around but we won.

A win isn't a win, when a team and it's leader struggled as bad as the Cowboys struggled. This win only gave OCs & DCs more ammunition when teams like Tenn, Jacksonville and Eagles play the POOR BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no justification for throwing the ball almost 30 times in the first half, against a historically bad run defense, like worst in 40 years bad.

There's especially no justification for doing do when your rbs were averaging 7ypc at that point in the game.

NONE

only threw 40 in the game..

so I doubt 30 in the first half but i saw or Rbs gets stuffed on 4-5 series so at some point the Texans also are allegedly were bad defense period. Their DL came to pay so just stop..you remember the GL play umm 4 shots at a TD by the way of RUN and got stuffed. right, i remember, look you call plays and need to execute there were a lot of wide open Wrs that dropped the ball, dropped tds, and or Dak got hit while throwing also on the OL.OL did not play consistently all game and that was part of the issue No steel from the 2nd str also not good..

LIKE i tried to say a few questionable calls but really wasn't all that bad.

Air Corylell Jr confuses us all.

lol….hot hand!! 4.1 ypc getting stuffed on the GL.

zeke had 1 25 yard run early then 2.6 ypc on the other 14 Carrie’s.

but I must admit…..4.1 ypc is hot for zeke. L
