Kellen Moore

This team has been anointing people for years.

IMO, Kellen Moore should not be a NFL QB Coach (yet). He should be a Quality Control guy or go make his bones in college.

Also IMO, Cooper Rush is not a #2 QB in the NFL. Mike White could be, but because he doesn't have NFL caliber coaching, he's going to struggle.

I'm thinking all you fellers bemoaning in begrudgement of KELLEN MOORE running his biscuit all the way around the skillet of DALLAS COWBOYS COACHING STAFF GRAVY are of the jealous sort,as He's learned to hold his water& keep his powder dry as well ,under the leadership & tutelage available from the feeding trough of the GARRETT:rolleyes:

* ya know? Somebody posted tonight about an aire of the
" country club atmosphere " showing through in this organizations approach & readiness to compete,,, they prolly ain't that fer' off in their assessmento_O

Kinda' makes ya wish you had a biscuit to dip into the GARRETT'S gravy skillet, huh ,ol' Buddy?o_O

when do we pass the buck on to the QB coach for his development of our QBs??

Rush is terrible

White is terrible

Dak is who he is

I thought it was a terrible hire then and even more so now... dude got handed a Ferrari when he should have been the valet/ towel boy for a few years paying his dues learning

He's following in the footsteps of greatness

Clap clap spit

He's Garrett. A name only, and guess who hired him, the dumbest GM in history.

Oh, right. I meant actual games.

So, we should wait until the regular season to assess how our backup QBs are doing? I’m not worried about Dak. Kellen Moore as QB coach was a very questionable hire, though.

You cant be serious blaming Moore why our backups stink? They stink because our front office things the backup QB position is not important. Rush is not an NFL QB. None of that can be blamed on Moore even if u think it was a good hire or not.

I don't disagree that the hire of Moore seemed a little premature, but it may well be that Rush just doesn't have what it takes. Moore wasn't the QB coach when they decided Rush was the best option at backup QB.

We haven't seen one regular season game under Moore as qb coach, chill out...

You should wait until actual games to assess how your QBs are doing, yes. And you should be worried about Dak, much more than you're worried about Rush or White.

If you don't like Moore, that's fine. Let's just not pretend you've got the data to say he's doing a poor job.

Judging Moore by Rush's and White play is a stretch. Rush never had an arm and White is a rookie. Lets see how Dak progresses this year and then make a judgement. White is progressing it seems so that is a good thing. They said he was a bit slow to read defenses in college....17-22 for 150 or so is a nice night for a rookie IMO

We needed someone young to relate to the QBs...... ie to explain the Double Wing T offense

Didnt know we play multiple QBs during the regular season

On the QB coach to have them ready and have an offense that can at least be functional..

Throwing picks and terrible throws on top of knowing only the TE and RB routes

Depends whether anybody gets hurt or involved in a blowout. That doesn't mean you just guess at what's going on in a preseason game where the protections are variable based on personnel you're holding out and where you're not game planning for the defense.

You guys have ridiculously high standards for a low 4th round starter, a street free agent who somehow managed to win and hold the backup job, and a bottom of the 5th round rookie pick.

It's sad that guys like Dak, Rush and White won't be able to maximize their potential because of these 'buddy hires'. No offense to Kellen. I'm sure he will be a fine QB coach in time, but he absolutely should NOT be the guy tasked with developing our QBs especially when all 3 of them are very young. He needs to float around the league more picking up experience as an assistant first, and not be learning on the job.

To be fair to him, after this year he'll have about as much experience as Garrett had when he became our o-coordinator. Maybe he's hoping to follow that plan.
