One thing is for sure. Moore has a lot to work with and he used them. First i like to talk about the players on offense.
Gallup looks like a stud number 1 receiver. Amari was Amari. Jarwins speed and athleticism showed when he ran full speed and then jump up and turned in the air to catch a pass and then run it in . The addition of Cobb is going to pay huge dividends. My favorite play was when he stiff armed a defender for a first down. Pollard looked good on pass protection which was another question.
Moores offense moves people around. There was one play that I saw Collins and Martin pull and it wasn't a run, it was a pass to Gallup. That was sensational. It used to be whenever we had guys pull it was almost always a run. You just can know our play within the first few seconds anymore. You have to pay attention almost the whole clock and by then with all the weapons we have it's too late. Our offense is going to be lethal this season.
Zeke hasn't got fully acclimated yet. Once he does and he starts bursting free and getting 100 yard games this offense will be on another level. It'll be pick your poison, pass or run?
We still haven't used Pollard in the passing game and we can see that olawale our fullback has speed to get down field. This offense has scary potential. The reason I say potential is because we didnt face a pass rush yet but we will eventually.
The top question of the offseason was what affect will Moore have on our offense and we got a good taste today. I'm excited to see what else he has in store. We have enough firepower to match any team now. This is going to be a fun season as long as Dak and Zeke stay healthy.
