Schotty wants the Cowboys to run the ball. If Kelvin Banks (UT LT) falls, do you take him at #12?

Scenario:

LT Banks
LG Smith
C Beebe
RG Robert Jones (?)
RT Guyton

Eagles front 7 still scares me. Get Terrence Steele outta there. I'm just saying.

Absolutely not. He's a fringe 1st rounder at best and most likely an OG in the NFL. And we'll never get where we need to be if we keep throwing all our 1st rounders at OL's.

IMO he is a guard at the next level. If we are talking OT, Josh Simmons is light years better

I thought I was the only one.

He looked soft to me.
Not soft, more like a guy w/ limited athleticism trying to play OLT. His length limitations often saw him going to the ground, which is what you observed. It wasn't from being soft, it was from trying to overcome his limitations.

He's actually a brawler w/ a means streak. He'd be a great 3rd round pick.

I wouldn't be opposed to this.

3 year starter at LT in the SEC, 2 sacks allowed in his last 1000+ snaps and a 90+ overall grade.

I don’t love OL in the first again but if he’s clear cut BPA wouldn’t hate it if we think he can stick at LT.

I think they view him as a guard

The Georgia boys destroyed him both times. No thanks……
They had a few good rushes but he also completely stonewalled them several times.

The sacks were in large part on the QB and Ewers having absolutely horrific pocket presence.

Other than Georgia he dominated everyone that lined up against him. There's a reason many mocks have him in the top 10 or a little higher. He would be a day one plug and play starter.

No way would he be clear cut BPA. Not that there is such a thing.

BPA takes for granted that prospects are easily graded and separated. They are not.
