Good that he has some good mentors on the team. We want him to be an impact starter and maybe he will be, but at least he’s busting his A on ST’s. Means he’s not a quitter.

Hopefully his talent clicks and he’s able to take that outside job once AB leaves next year.

He does a real good job disengaging with blockers and using his speed to get downfield on punt coverage. Hopefully, his growth extends to his work at corner ... of course, he's not going to learn much about how to play that position from Goodwin.

Imagine if we keep A Brown and use his speed at free safety. As a single high he could cut off all the deep throws.

I wanted Joseph to win the starting job opposite of Diggs for that reason. I had no idea all of our safeties would step up there game.

LCB -Joseph
RCB -Diggs
SS -Wilson
FS -Brown
SCB -Bland

I'd kind of still like to see that lineup next year.

Typically a player makes their biggest improvements between years 1 and 2. He didn't and wasn't drafted with a 2nd round pick to be a special teams ace.

Frankly I would rather be reading about his defensive growth.

A 2nd rounder should be a contributor by now instead of a special teams player.
He probably would have been but he kind of dug himself into a hole with the latest setback. The Cowboys can't put a lot of faith in him so he just has to gradually work his way out.

He has the physical ability and has proven that, but who is he off the field? Wanna be a gansta or do you want to play football?

He has to do the time now.

I think Anthony Brown is going to ask for too much money next year and KJ will replace him at CB. I also think he will be a very good CB once he learns how to play the position. He is not a very experienced player but he has the physical gifts.

Brown is a cb, no reason to move him to safety just because he is fast.

The Patriots, in years pass, have been known for stopping the run and eliminate big plays. So talk to Bill Belichick about moving a fast cornerback to free safety. Ask him how that's worked out for him all these years.

The success KJ has had on ST can give him some confidence in getting some CB time . I think he’s got the speed and the talent he has to have the desire to take it up the next level . Cowboys have gotten more out of Bland a late round pick then either Joseph or Wright . That’s not a great thought on those two .

Just what we were looking for when we burned that 2nd round pick. A special teams ace.

Bland is better than Joseph.

its a long season, and we will need contributions from that whole CB group ... better depth than most years, which KJ would have probably been a starter already
