KJ is in a good spot he's contributing and helping the defense with field position. His time will come just have patience...it's a process sometimes. CB isn't easy to learn especially for a guy who didn't even start 10 games in college.

I think Anthony Brown is going to ask for too much money next year and KJ will replace him at CB. I also think he will be a very good CB once he learns how to play the position. He is not a very experienced player but he has the physical gifts.

I think so too. Brown is going to go elsewhere which is why there's never been a rush to get Joseph in the starting lineup. Most said he was raw when we drafted him but are also going to knock him for not winning a starting job? Can't have it both ways. Let Brown get paid like he deserves and then see what Joseph's got for a lot cheaper for a few years.

And Wright is on milk cartons in the Dallas area “ have u seen this man . If so call the Art Gallery “ .. two high picks not alot to go on .

THIS is the guy that should be drawing the ire of the board. Wright's done next to nothing AND didn't look good when out there in preseason this year. He's still around (because he's cheap) so there's hope but no, crap on Joseph from the start because he likes rap music. Uh huh.

He probably would have been but he kind of dug himself into a hole with the latest setback. The Cowboys can't put a lot of faith in him so he just has to gradually work his way out.

He has the physical ability and has proven that, but who is he off the field? Wanna be a gansta or do you want to play football?

He has to do the time now.
It really pains me that we could have drafted Creed Humphrey and drafted this guy instead. What a waste of a premium draft pick, so far.

I front think the fact that he likes rap music has anything to do with why people don’t like his play. Granted they may think he should be more focused on football than making any kind of music. That’s a different discussion.

But mainly he was considered a reach when drafted. Not many liked the Wright pick then, and probably even less like it now. Let’s hope he proves us wrong. But I smell bust on Wright.

Being on “First 48” the clock is ticking not exactly a boost to KJ image enhancement.

Some people not liking KJ's rap interest from the point we drafted him certainly colors how they see his play. He'll never do well enough in their eyes because that would require admitting he turned out well afterall.

Frankly I would rather be reading about his defensive growth.

A 2nd rounder should be a contributor by now instead of a special teams player.

Is he not contributing? Sure I’d like to see him get more corner snaps too but he deserves praise for playing hard and making plays on special teams too

Folks can scoff but I think it’s a good sign he’s taken on his special teams role. He could have easily cratered, feeling entitled to a starting role. Hopefully it’s a positive sign of his future development.

yeah, I’ve been skeptical of the kid, but being essentially demoted he’s embraced his role and excelled. might be something to it.

Josheph(2nd) and Nashon Wright(3rd round) were both head scratching draft choices last year.
Joseph appears to be a penalty waiting to happen out there and Wright can barely make the active roster.

Look, I'll be clear that I wanted no part of drafting Joseph. His experiences at LSU and Kentucky were enough for me to want to stay far away from him, as well as his general lack of on-field experience.

That being said, he has been terrific as a gunner on special teams, and anyone who works to excel at ST is someone who has grit and wants to succeed. He definitely has the physical gifts to be a top flight cover guy, so if he can improve his play recognition and continue to work as hard as he has at ST, Joseph may realize his potential as a corner. Would be nice to see.

KJ has been excellent on STs. But as has been stated several times, a 2nd round pick in his second year should be a lot more than a great gunner.

He was only 21 when he was drafted and only played in about 20 games in college, so they knew he was raw when drafted. But he certainly needs to start showing something more than STs moments.

I played gunner.

You not only have to get there and shoot fast, you have to contain the outside lane so they don't break it. Usually meant for elite speed guys.

Good that he has some good mentors on the team. We want him to be an impact starter and maybe he will be, but at least he’s busting his A on ST’s. Means he’s not a quitter.

Hopefully his talent clicks and he’s able to take that outside job once AB leaves next year.

I told you guys he was smarter than he was being given credit for. He knows he made a mistake.

One step at a time.

Anthony Brown is a pretty good player.
