He shouldn't not be paid, and I'm not trying to sound unsympathetic, but if a non immediate family member passes on Thursday, why the need to miss a game on Sunday?

Dak Prescott lost a family member on a Thursday a few weeks ago, and missed Friday's practice.

He went to Minnesota with the team two days later.

Admittedly I have no idea what the relationships are, but even so.... this really comes down to Joseph not being missed.

I've lost close family members as we all have...and some I'm still not over, but there should have been plenty of time for him to make arrangements, to grieve, spend time with other family members etc and still get his job done.

Maybe it sounds wrong, but these guys have a unique job to do and are counted on....and are paid quite well for that.

I apologize in advance to anyone who feels like this is mean spirited or whatever. Not meant that way.

Looks like he lost family

No excuse. He is a bust and needs to be cut immediately. Dak went to his grandmas funeral on Friday and still showed up for the Minnesota game on Sunday.

Are we sure she is out Sunday, on the injury report he listed as questionable.

Anyone that crucified him the other day should learn from that mistake .... All of us have failed in life and have had issues, I don't think any of us want anyone using our past digressions to determine our guilt or innocence in situations.

Some people do though. If they dont wonder they make a fuss about it. Ive had people come to me and tell me they didnt think one of my workers was sick when they called in. Its actually pretty funny in the moment. That self satisfied look on their face
