Ken Dorsey on his new role

Don't know if he called in marker or what but they were determined to give him a job. Reading this, it doesn't sound like much but he is on staff (lol).

Cowboys pass game specialist Ken Dorsey on his role in Dallas: “I’m helping out with the offense in general. I’ll be able to go where needed in terms of helping out position groups and things like that. It’s something that I’m going to be able to help a lot with tying the pass game with the run game and just some of the pass concepts and things like that. It’s more of a big picture role more so than a specific, one lane type deal.”

That might be for the best since he has failed as an offensive coordinator in his only two chances. One of my least favorite hires, but perhaps this role will suit him. He did well enough with the Bills as a QB coach and passing game coordinator to earn a promotion before flopping as an OC.

The Cowboys team rushing was 27th out of 32 teams......we can't run the football here.
If you look a bit deeper: The Kansas City Chiefs can't run the ball either (450/1790). Both they and Dallas averaged four yards per carry, and were only separated in team rushing rankings by 85 yds. (Cowboys: 429/1705). We were also statistically better than the Rams, who were next to last in the League in YPC (3.9).

Where we really stunk it up was in the rushing TDs category, where the Cowboys were dead last with only six (6) the entire season, two less than the 31st-ranked team. By way of comparison, the Buffalo Bills had thirty-two (32) rushing TDs this past season.

The Cowboys were also tied with the Rams for dead last in carries of 20+ yds. (3).

I would say this new coaching staff will have a better scheme to run the ball than McCarthy had last season. This staff is hell bent on running the ball ,they won't give up on the run .I believe the players will be added to make it work as intended.

That’s what happens when the guy calling the shots says “I want to see what Zeke Elliott can do as RB1,” three years after he was clearly cooked.

didnt we already win the SB when we got the analystical guy?

doesnt that propel you to SB wins? someone won the SB and told us. its the new wave right?

I dont have a defined role and will bounce around and fill voids when needed. Too many cooks in the kitchen
