I know we dont need a receiver but what a fit this guy would be on our team.

I think in a few years he'll be one of the top 2 receivers from his draft
Class.

He'll probably be a late first round pick, i love him but do we need another at that price?

Baylor runningback Terrance Ganaway is a bigger Marion Barber too, he'll be fourth round pick or so.

oh an I have got a pretty under standing of the draft process

WR's updated November 4, 2011

Justin Blackmon*, WR, Oklahoma State
Projected Round (2012): Top 10 Pick

Alshon Jeffery*, WR, South Carolina
Projected Round (2012): Top 10 Pick.

Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Projected Round (2012): 1.

Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina
Projected Round (2012): 1-2.

Ryan Broyles, WR/PR, Oklahoma
Projected Round (2012): 2.

Juron Criner, WR, Arizona
Projected Round (2012): 2.

Mohamed Sanu*, WR, Rutgers
Projected Round (2012): 2.

Marvin McNutt, WR, Iowa
Projected Round (2012): 2-3.

Nick Toon, WR, Wisconsin
Projected Round (2012): 2-3

I would take any of these last five guys just theres no way I use a 2 rd or higher on a WR this year

T.Y. Hilton, WR/KR, Florida International
Projected Round (2012): 3.

Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Projected Round (2012): 3-4.

Jarius Wright, WR, Arkansas
Projected Round (2012): 3-4.

Marquis Maze, WR/PR, Alabama
Projected Round (2012): 4-5.

Travis Benjamin, WR, Miami
Projected Round (2012): 6-FA.

Wright is probably a 2nd rounder right now IMO. He's still behind Blackmon, Jeffery, and Floyd for sure. After that he's fighting with Mohammed Sanu and Reuben Randle if they decide to come out.

The fact that he would fit our offense perfectly seems to suggest we do need a WR. I think we should take one in the draft, preferably one that can contribute on special teams and in the return game, and I won't be upset at all if we take one early.

Do you feel like these projections are going to accurately reflect where these players will be actually drafted?

I really really doubt he will be a 1st/2nd rounder. He would need a strong combine.

I think he will.

Have you seen the footspeed he has? Wow.

We won't get him though :(

He reminds me of Steve Smith. He plays a lot bigger than he is.
