The knock on Kenricks really was his decline in coverage the last couple years. Its likely he gets challenged more in this area over the coming weeks, but its also possible that the Cowboys supporting cast is strong enough where he doesnt have to be more than average in this department either.

This is why a lot of us coveted Bobby Wagner last year..can't shy away from older vets who still perform, and yes Kendricks was a force. I don't want to overreact but he and Overshown are the type of guys that can provide an attitude shift for the entire unit, it was literally night and day with those two compared to watching LVE and Damone man the middle of the defense.

This is where the more athletic guys, like Overshown, will have to play well, but I agree with you.

I also think, as the season goes, we'll see a lot of "dime" sets where Bell/Mukuamu, maybe even Wilson, are playing "linebacker" to help mitigate that.

He played great. But I'd like to point out that our interior Dline did the job as well. They took on those blocks allowing our linebackers to roam free. They even pressured Watson up the middle in some of the plays.

I'm not going to lie, when Damon Clark made a tackle I was saying why did we put him in? I wanted to see more Overshown and Kendricks.

The entire team will challenged in coverage more after this game where the passing game was minimal threat but here was opportunities for Cleveland. Amari dropped a sure td

He will be Overshown's best friend by keeping him free to fly around. He forced alot of plays wide which is right where Overshown and even #11 want you...

On a few tackles, Overshown looked like he was shot out of a cannon when he made contact with Watson. Came out of nowhere. Impressive.
