That's good I think we assumed it would be the guy that actually played in the system before

I think he'll be good in this system. You don't want him in coverage though.

He graded out in the middle of the pack in coverage and one of the worst in the NFL against the run. 185 out 189 LB's again the run

Ah, I've only watched some of his plays. He has the ability to play the run. I've seen examples. Great athlete, but he's been a marginal player thus far.

He hasn't even been a marginal player. His instincts are practically non existent

I've heard people here say they feel really good about the LB room and I can't, for the life of me, understand why. Liufau looks like he could be a good player and I really like what I saw from Overshown but he's out at least half the season presumably. Outside of that? Sanborn because he knows the system? This guy?

Yeah LB is still a problem area for this team. Collectively they have some great depth and role pieces, but they really dont have a complete backer on the team who can consistently play 3 downs at a high level. I'm anticipating a very up and down year from that group.

I don’t know if I feel good about the room but I feel it’s improved.

It's okay to say the 2 FA LB acquisitions leave a lot to be desired or just cut to the chase and say they aren't that good.

I like it. Eberflus knows Sanborn can do it. My guess is Liafau will get opportunities too.

There are only one or two decent LBs available in free agency. Kyzir White being the best.

I’d be surprised if the Cowboys make a move though. As we can see, they are high on both Murray and Sanborn so, without a really good option, I imagine they let it play out.

We need to upgrade at LB, safety and possibly DT. I expect more signings sooner or later.

Should they cut Wilson to save $6 million in cap? Does he fits this system?

A long way to go. Several different LB's, could take that duty over during TC.
He said he has been targeted to wear it. Not that it is a done deal.

This team has been clearly awful vs the run for going on a decade now and they continue to do everything to fix it except whats actually necessary.

Mazi is probably a bust and they refuse to accept that. Even if he isn’t, they aren’t deep enough there by any reach. But Jerry is like….I gave a big contract and used a first rounder…I want my ROI.

Then it’s tears and shock in January.

Murray will eventually learn this up front and close when a guard has a head of steam headed right at him because no one up front is worth a crap vs the run.

Honestly what good is having six pass rushers when the other team doesnt have to pass because they have a lead and can run it at will?

Only talent they'll need is that Overshown is coming back, and that Eberflus is a LB guru!!! He could take an ant and make it a great LB lol
