When the likes of 21 was a rookie and the Oline was young & dominant the Pokes were 13-3 . Something to be said about the threat of running the ball opens up the passing game , breathes life into a 140 million $ man .

Depends on the RB. Some are game changers.
I would gladly burn a late round 1st on this guy when he enters the draft.

Still a few yrs before Zeke can be cut I would prefer Braelon Allen he should be coming out around that time.

What do Jonathan Taylor Nick Chubb Joe Mixon Najee Harris have in common . Well they were the leaders in the league in rushing this year and all are drafted round 2 or above.

You can get lucky once in awhile get a complimentary back like a Tony Pollard round 4 but Tony’s a nice gadget back , no way no how Tony ever is near leading the league in rushing he will never get enough carries to stay healthy . Walker if he doesn’t go round one will make some team very happy round 2.

Makes the 140 million QB’s life so much simpler when 21 & 20 are chewing up yards on the ground. The SF bunch coming to an art gallery near us on Sunday like to RUN the ball yeah compliments the pass ….action . OLine need OLine in the next draft too ….

Yep.

Another point to be made is that when the Cowboys took Zeke at #4 overall, they instantly put him in the Top 3 in terms of salary at the position as a rookie.

Ramsey’s rookie contract made him the 44th highest paid DB in the league at the time.

That’s just not smart roster building IMO.

It may not be the wisest use of cap. Whether it is a good fit all move is another question but I agree it can’t be viewed in a vacuum.

We definitely NEED OL HELP.

I would not be opposed to a C or G at the end of round 1 and it might just be BPA.
