just another Stick figure

oh he did mentioned in the last 1:57 - just mentioned not making a play

We already had a Tate --------- Pat Watkins

I see no speed, no instincts, gets to the pile late because he out of position, does not make ANY hits

was 10 yards off the WR on the TD given up in 3rd the only WR on the play

saw a slant route run on Tate in the 4th – Tate out of position

still have not seen him make a tackle

I saw more of #2 Antwine Perez than Tate

Perez looks tougher – I seen him make at least 5 tackles

I would not waste a 5th rder on Tate

Give me Da'Rel Scott, RB, Maryland 5-11 #200

200 yards+

Or give me the WR from ECU Dwayne Harris, WR/KR, East Carolina 6-0 #200

It was pure dominance I tell ya.

Eerily similiar to the performance Suh did against Texas last year.

Yeah, that's right, Kenny Tate is the Ndamukong Suh of the secondary.

I didn't see anything spectacular either. Whoever pimped this guy needs to be slapped in the back of the head.

lool, I think you're a little slow. Jumping to these conclusions and its your first game you've ever seen him play.

He doesn't make hits? His 90+ tackles beg to differ. He has no speed? He beat Torrey Smith in a race at practice...twice. No instincts? His 3 INT and perfect position in the deep half all season beg to differ. Out of all the games I've watched of him (missed 3) I have yet to see him get beat deep.

Stop talking if you haven't got a clue what you're saying. He's proved to be dominant against the pass all year. Today, he proved to be dominant as a pass rushing safety aswell. He had at least 3-5 QB hurries. So this is just the icing on the cake for me.

Really funny how you came to these conclusions - yet its you're first time seeing him play. Funny.Even funnier, how did you come to these conclusions considering he was a OLB about 80% of the time.

BTW, how is your pet cat DJ from Iowa doing? Still cooking that meth? ******.

He did give up a deep ball, he sat there and watched as the WR made the catch over the DB. He should have been there to help at least but what is really surprising is he looked on as the play happened...he didn't even make his way towards the play. He did play in the box as a rusher and did ok nothing that jumped out at me.

That wasn't his responsibility. He had zone in the deep middle cause the corners weren't playing man, they were playing zone deep aswell. It was an all out blitz. No safety would have made that play.

Canuck, you gotta expect some ribbing when you were predicting dominance from the guy in other threads. All in fun.

Lol I kno ;)

Notice though when you were ribbing me in other threads I didn't do anything? At least your familiar with the dude. This dude UNO hasn't even seen him play either then today and he's jumping to these conclusions.

The next Sean Taylor. dream on thier Canuck

I know your from Canada so don't expect you to know a real football player

he beat who twice times ?

Torrey Smith in a race at practice...twice. Who's that ?

and you get your info how ?

did he beat Da'Rel Scott ? now that be impressive

I expected to see Taylor Mays hitting - sorry did not see it

Top defensive player:
Maryland: S Kenny Tate, 86 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 int, 3 forced fumbles

you can not even get your facts correct

but big time players show up in big games

he must have thought this was practice

I'll chart him tonight and give an opinion tomorrow.

I think it's funny slash sad watching people tear apart everyone else's pet cats this year.

I defended Taylor Mays so much last year I got angry and I had to stop posting (on my own) for a few weeks. Someone (and whoever it was, Thank you) PM'd me and told me it wasn't my job to defend him. It kind of brought me back to reality.

The thing is, if you like a guy, 25 people on here are going to go out of their way to try to make that player look bad. It's just a part of message boards I guess.

Da'Rel Scott, RB, Maryland 5-11 #200

200 yards +

just jumped a up the board IMO

Even people who have know idea what they're talking about, and clearly have already been pwned in the thread.

"Oh well i just watched "tape" (read a game or video clip) of the guy, so i know all about him."

:laugh2:

:laugh2: He didnt do a thing. The only guy in their secondary who looked worth anything was Perez.

This. But to be most of it were on two long runs against what looked like a bad high school defense.

As I said in another thread, Kenny Tate is a less talented Taylor Mays and anyone comparing him to Sean Taylor has either a.) Never seen Sean Taylor at Miami or b.) Never seen Tate play.

FWIW, I think both Mays and Tate could both be decent SS, given enough time, but neither are the dominant players that some make them seem.
